Though marketed as an American cybersecurity firm headquartered in New York, Axonius’s engineering base, founders, and early investors are overwhelmingly tied to Israeli intelligence networks. Its platform centralizes and analyzes the digital activity of millions of federal employees, giving operators broad visibility over devices, logins, browsing behavior, and the ability to disable accounts or quarantine equipment.
Reporting shows that Axonius expanded with extraordinary speed after its founders left Israeli military intelligence, securing millions in seed funding from venture capitalists with similar intelligence backgrounds before landing hundreds of millions more from US investors closely connected to Israel’s tech-military ecosystem.
Despite these origins, Axonius has secured contracts with the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of War, the Defense Logistics Agency, and dozens of additional federal departments, effectively embedding software engineered by former Israeli spies at the core of US cyber infrastructure.
The report warns that Israel’s long record of espionage inside the US makes this level of access deeply alarming. Axonius' penetration of federal systems amounts to subcontracting US cybersecurity to an intelligence apparatus with a documented history of spying on American institutions. The study , titled “Feeds, Feelings, and Focus: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Examining the Cognitive and Mental Health Correlates of Short-Form Video Use”, directly ties short-form video content (SFV) from algorithm-driven platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts to brain rot.
Researchers analyzed data from 98,299 participants across 71 studies, and discovered that the more short-form content a person watches, the poorer cognitive performance they had when it comes to attention and inhibitory control.
And the videos are being watched a lot, as the review shows that young people now average 6.5 hours per day online.

Congress has released its 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and is preparing to pass the sweeping spending bill, which will give President Trump a total military budget of over $1 trillion.
Earlier this year, a supplemental for an additional $156 billion was included in the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill,” most of which will go toward the 2026 military budget and be added to the $901 billion NDAA unveiled by Congress, bringing total military spending well over $1 trillion.
The supplemental was factored into the White House’s 2026 military budget request, and Congress actually added $8 billion more than President Trump requested in the NDAA.
Over the weekend, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth signaled that the budget could get even bigger. “We received a historic boost in funding last year, and believe that is only just the beginning,” he said at the Reagan National Defense Forum, according to Defense One .
“We need a revived defense industrial base. We need those capabilities. We need them yesterday. And so, resource-wise, I think this room will be encouraged by what we’ll see soon — but I don’t want to get too ahead,” Hegseth added.

❗️Israeli soldier who took part in ground invasion of Gaza takes own life after doing things he said 'cannot be forgiven'
Lithuanian-Israeli soldier Tomas Adzgauskas, who took part in the genocide in Gaza, took his own life after posting a message on Facebook saying, in part, “I did things that cannot be forgiven.”:
“October 7, the date that ruined my life and destroyed everything I was.
I can’t anymore, I am ruin and devastation… I did things that cannot be forgiven, and I can’t live with it anymore. No one understands me anyway.
There is a demon inside me that has been chasing me since 7.10. Please forget me and remember the Tomas who was an officer and a sniper commander.
That Tomas died on the 7th; I am only a soul searching for peace. For two years now I haven’t been able to live with myself.”
Adzgauskas took part in the ground invasion of Gaza and was discharged in April 2024. As of 7 October, 2023, an estimated 50 Israeli soldiers have committed suicide.
