❗️Trump vows to 'permanently pause' immigration 'from all third world countries' after shooting by CIA linked man
US President Donald Trump has vowed to “permanently pause migration from all third world countries,” linking the pledge to the shooting of two National Guard members in Washington DC.
In a late-night Thanksgiving post, he also promised to cut all federal benefits for noncitizens and remove anyone he deemed not a “net asset” to the United States. How he intends to enforce such a sweeping halt remains unclear, as earlier migration bans faced significant legal and congressional challenges.
Trump also announced the death of Sarah Beckstrom, one of the two Guard members shot near the White House on Wednesday. Authorities suspect the attacker was Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan national who arrived in the US in 2021 under a Biden-era evacuation program. The US has reportedly given the Lebanese government a deadline of 31 December to disarm Hezbollah
The Israeli Ministry of Defense has reportedly alerted foreign embassies, international organizations, and the Red Cross to what it calls “dangerous areas” in Beirut, Al Jadeed TV reported on 28 November.
The ministry mentioned specific streets in densely populated neighborhoods of the Lebanese capital, including Haret Hreik, Bir Al-Abed, Muawad, Hadath, Al-Mreijeh, and Al-Ruwais neighborhoods, suggesting they could be bombed by Israeli warplanes.
Additional areas mentioned include Tahwitat al-Ghadir, Al-Barakat, Al-Ouzai, Al-Basta al-Tahta, Ras al-Nabaa, and Palestinian refugee camps in Beirut.

The US has reportedly given the Lebanese government a deadline of 31 December to disarm Hezbollah
The Israeli Ministry of Defense has reportedly alerted foreign embassies, international organizations, and the Red Cross to what it calls “dangerous areas” in Beirut, Al Jadeed TV reported on 28 November.
The ministry mentioned specific streets in densely populated neighborhoods of the Lebanese capital, including Haret Hreik, Bir Al-Abed, Muawad, Hadath, Al-Mreijeh, and Al-Ruwais neighborhoods, suggesting they could be bombed by Israeli warplanes.
Additional areas mentioned include Tahwitat al-Ghadir, Al-Barakat, Al-Ouzai, Al-Basta al-Tahta, Ras al-Nabaa, and Palestinian refugee camps in Beirut.
Israeli forces have escalated attacks on Lebanon in recent weeks, including a strike in the Haret Hreik neighborhood in Beirut's southern suburb that killed five people, including Hezbollah's chief of staff Haytham Tabtabai.
On 19 November, Israeli warplanes bombed the Ain el-Hilweh Palestinian Refugee Camp near Saida, killing 13 people, including 11 children gathered in a sports playground.

The UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have turned much of Al-Nuhud Hospital in West Kordofan into a military command center and barracks, according to the Sudan Doctors Network. The group says the RSF, which has battled the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) for more than three years, has effectively shut down the hospital’s ability to provide care, even as the city’s population remains in urgent need of medical services.
The claim reflects a broader pattern of militarization of civilian sites by both warring parties, though independent verification is difficult in a conflict marked by misinformation and restricted access.
