Netanyahu Tells US There Will Be No Palestinian State in Any Post-War Scenario
He says Israel must control 'the entire territory west of the Jordan River'
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday that he has told the US there will be no Palestinian state in any post-war scenario and that Israel must control all of the territory from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, which includes the West Bank and Gaza.
“In any future arrangement … Israel needs security control all territory west of the Jordan,” Netanyahu said at a news conference. “This collides with the idea of sovereignty. What can you do?”
His comments came after Secretary of State Antony Blinken called for the creation of a Palestinian state. Other US officials have floated the idea of linking Israeli-Saudi normalization with the creation of a Palestinian state in the future, but Netanyahu has rejected both ideas.
“This truth I tell to our American friends, and I put the brakes on the attempt to coerce us to a reality that would endanger the state of Israel,” Netanyahu said.

But the point of this article is to zoom out and look at the bigger picture. The era of social media and the internet was rapidly threatening the ruling powers grip of control by removing the reliance on centralized information streams and gatekeepers.
If the truth was allowed to flow freely, the ruling powers would not maintain consent. This is why Julian Assange is not free, and many of our rulers are.
Instead of relying on your local ABC/CNN/FOX/NBC/CNBC Owned broadcaster, or your similarly owned local radio station affiliate for information, people started to be able to go to the internet and search… With social media, the barrier to access for publishing was removed, and anybody could transmit information, or analyze, or publish investigative journalism...
Information streams decentralized all over the world rapidly, and the narrative handlers and consent manufacturers started losing grip of the narrative and as a result, consent was being threatened. (not to say that uninformed consent is proper consent...
....The problem for the globalist elite was that with the rise of social media and the internet, they lost the ability to control the narrative. They were losing influence. Mainstream journalism was becoming relatively obsolete while citizen journalism alongside alternative and independent media was rapidly growing - threatening the legacy media.
Even before 2020 and Covid, The elite has been caught repeatedly coordinate disinformation campaigns, and then when the truth gets traction they cry “Russian disinformation” and “dangerous conspiracy theories” and censor that which challenges the official narrative.

Commanders from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and Lebanon's Hezbollah group are on the ground in Yemen helping to direct and oversee Houthi attacks on Red Sea shipping, four regional and two Iranian sources told Reuters.
Iran - which has armed, trained and funded the Houthis - stepped up its weapons supplies to the militia in the wake of the war in Gaza, which erupted after Iranian-backed militants Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, the four regional sources said.

The Israeli leader is under pressure over course of the Gaza war but is doubling down on opposition to a two-state solution
Defiant Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu doubled down on opposition to Palestinian statehood, deepening the divide with Israel’s closest international allies, as cracks in his wartime “unity” government became increasingly evident.
Anger with Netanyahu is also increasingly visible on the streets, even though there is broad public support for the war. On Saturday, protesters gathered in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Caesarea and Kfar Saba, some calling for bolder action to secure the release of hostages, and others demanding the prime minister step down.
One in Jerusalem held a placard that read: “Mothers’ cry: we will not sacrifice our children in the war to save the rightwing.”

The Biden administration is crafting plans for a sustained military campaign targeting the Houthis in Yemen after 10 days of strikes failed to halt the group’s attacks on maritime commerce, stoking concern among some officials that an open-ended operation could derail the war-ravaged country’s fragile peace and pull Washington into another unpredictable Middle Eastern conflict.
The White House convened senior officials on Wednesday to discuss options for the way ahead in the administration’s evolving response to the Iranian-backed movement, which has vowed to continue attacking ships off the Arabian peninsula despite near-daily operations to destroy Houthi radars, missiles and drones. On Saturday, U.S. Central Command announced its latest strike, on an anti-ship missile that was prepared for launch.
The deepening cycle of violence is a setback to President Biden’s goal of stemming spillover hostilities triggered by Israel’s war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Underscoring the threat, Iran on Saturday blamed Israel for a strike on the Syrian capital, Damascus, that killed five Iranian military advisers. The Israeli military declined to comment. In Iraq, an attack on Ain al-Asad air base, which hosts Iraqi and U.S. troops, left one Iraqi soldier seriously injured, according to a Defense Department official.
