‼️ CNN: Trump warns Hamas of 'Complete Obliteration!' If it stays in power in Gaza

US President Donald Trump told CNN that Hamas would face “complete obliteration” if it refuses to relinquish power and control of Gaza.

When asked by CNN’s Jake Tapper via text message on Saturday what would happen if Hamas insisted on staying in power, Trump replied, “Complete Obliteration!”

Tapper challenged Trump on Hamas’s reaction to his 20-point plan for Gaza, referencing Sen. Lindsey Graham’s view that Hamas had essentially rejected the plan by demanding “no disarmament, keeping Gaza under Palestinian control and tying hostage release to negotiations.”

“Is he wrong?” Tapper asked.

“We will find out. Only time will tell!!!” Trump responded.

Trump said he expects “soon” to know whether Hamas is truly committed to peace.

“Yes on Bibi,” Trump added when asked if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fully supports "ending the bombing campaign" on Gaza and backing the president's plan.

Netanyahu threatens to resume bombing of Gaza if Hamas fails to release captives within 72 hours of the ceasefire

Israel's influential, extremist National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir threatened on 5 October that his Jewish Power (Otzma Yehudit) party would leave the coalition government if Hamas "continues to exist" after the release of Israeli captives under the Trump ceasefire plan.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has remained in power since late 2022 on the basis of his Likud Party's coalition with Ben Gvir's Otzma Yehudit and the Religious Zionism party, which are committed to continuing the war, ethnically cleansing Gaza, and ideally building settlements for Jewish Israelis in the devastated strip.

After the possibility emerged this weekend that a ceasefire and prisoner exchange based on Trump's so-called ‘peace’ plan could come into effect, Ben Gvir stated his party would not agree to a deal that would leave Hamas intact, which would be a "national defeat" and “eternal disgrace.”

Ben Gvir has threatened to leave Netanyahu's coalition multiple times since Israel's genocide in Gaza began in October two years ago, seeking to pressure the prime minister to continue the violence. He stepped down as National Security Minister when a ceasefire was reached in January, but rejoined Netanyahu's cabinet in March after Israel resumed the war.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also called to ensure that Hamas is dismantled.

❗️Quarter of a million flood Amsterdam streets in solidarity with Gaza

Nearly 30 percent of Amsterdam’s population—around 250,000 people—marched through the Dutch capital yesterday, demanding stronger action from their government against Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

Organizers described the rally as one of the largest in the city’s history. Participants, dressed in red to mark a symbolic ‘red line’ against Israel’s siege, filled Amsterdam’s streets for a six-kilometer march. Police confirmed the crowd size.

"We are here to condemn everything that is happening in Gaza," said 27-year-old Emilia Rivero, who traveled from Utrecht to join the march.

PAX Netherlands, which organized the demonstration, said the protest aimed to pressure the government to act decisively against Israeli crimes.

Director Rolien Sasse told Reuters that demonstrators want an immediate ceasefire and accountability for Israel’s actions. "We hope there will be a real ceasefire very, very soon … but we are also worried about the long-term commitment of Israel to stop the genocide," she said.

The protest came just weeks before national elections, with activists accusing the Dutch government of failing to confront Israel’s war policy.

Testimonies Reveal ‘Torture, Humiliation’ Of Flotilla Activists In Israeli Prisons

Israel’s national security minister said he was glad that the activists were being ‘treated like terrorists’ under his policy

Pro-Palestinian activists who were on board the Global Sumud Flotilla reported being mistreated by Israeli authorities following their arrest last week.

One Spanish activist, Goretti Sarasibar, told Reuters after his deportation that the detainees were forced to watch videos of Hamas’s attack on 7 October 2023.

“They didn’t give us food all day,” he said. “Now we are super happy eating, as we were starving.”

Dutch activist Marco Tesh said he could not breathe at one point “because they put something to my face and they tied my hands to my back.”

Another one of the deported activists, Rafael Borrego, said, “At any time that any of us called a police officer, we risked that seven or more fully armed people entered to our cell, as they did on mine, pointing us with weapons at our heads, with dogs ready to attack us, and being dragged to the floor.”

❗️Israel deports Greta Thunberg, 170 activists from Global Sumud Flotilla

Israel announced today that it had deported Greta Thunberg along with 170 other activists who were part of the Global Sumud Flotilla it blocked last week from bringing aid to Gaza, sending them to Greece and Slovakia.

Earlier, Swiss and Spanish members of the flotilla reported being held in inhumane conditions by Israeli forces. With today's deportations, the total number of people expelled rose to 341 out of 479 detainees.

In a statement accompanied by photos of Thunberg at the airport, Israel’s foreign ministry claimed that all participants’ legal rights had been respected and that the only act of violence came from an activist who bit a female medic at Israel’s Ketziot prison.

❗️Bologna bans pro-Palestinian protest over unrest concerns

Authorities in Bologna, northern Italy, have prohibited a pro-Palestinian protest set for Tuesday, 7 October 2025, citing concerns over potential unrest after recent days of protests and clashes with police across Italy, a local representative of the Interior Minister reported.

The Giovani Palestinesi (Palestinian Youth) Italia group had organized protests in Bologna and Turin to mark the second anniversary of 7 October 2023.

"The demonstration will be absolutely prohibited," said Enrico Ricci, Bologna’s local prefect, expressing fears of clashes following weekend violence in Rome. Giovani Palestinesi stated on Instagram that they intended to proceed with the protest despite the ban.

Israel's ambassador to Italy, Jonathan Peled, objected to what he described as initiatives "that seek to glorify the October 7 massacre and successfully worked with Italian authorities to cancel the event," according to Israel’s Foreign Ministry on X.
