'That's Not Happening': Netanyahu Confirms Israeli Troops Will Not Leave Gaza

The premier said there will be 'no Palestinian state' and promised to 'eliminate' Hamas if it rejects the new US plan for Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on 30 September that Tel Aviv’s forces will not withdraw from Gaza, despite a new US “peace plan” calling for withdrawal.

⚡️Must watch:
Netanyahu reveals to Hebrew audiences after the press event where Trump revealed the 20-point plan to end the war on Gaza, that he has no intention of withdrawing Israeli troops from Gaza – “No way, that’s not happening.

He said:
This is a historic visit. Instead of Hamas isolating Israel, we turned the tables and isolated Hamas,” the premier said.

Now the entire world, including the Arab and Muslim world, is pressuring Hamas to accept the terms we set together with [US] President [Donald] Trump: to release all our hostages, both living and deceased, while the IDF remains in most of the strip,” Netanyahu added.

No way, that’s not happening,” he said in reference to withdrawal. He also said there will be no Palestinian state and that Trump backs Israel’s position on the matter.

ASEAN Readies New Trade Deals For 'future Without US'

The bloc is set to face a 10 percent drop in exports to the US due to tariffs imposed by Trump

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is set to sign trade agreements with several countries as it plans to protect itself from US President Donald Trump’s tariffs.

A trade agreement between Canada and ASEAN is scheduled to be signed by the end of 2026.

Additionally, an upgrade to the China–ASEAN Free Trade deal will be signed next month. An upgrade to its trade deal with India is also being worked on.

Negotiations to boost a trade deal with South Korea are in the works as well. The bloc is reportedly considering expanding toward the Gulf region.

ASEAN is also planning to expand the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), which includes 15 countries, including China, Japan, and South Korea – potentially bringing in countries such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Chile.

‼️ Global Sumud Flotilla condemns Italian naval interference
——
The Global Sumud Flotilla denounced the Italian naval frigate shadowing its mission, accusing it of attempting to sabotage and demoralize a peaceful humanitarian effort by pressuring participants to abandon ship before reaching Gaza.

The statement calls this an act of complicity with Israel’s illegal blockade, stressing that Italy should instead use its naval power to ensure safe passage of aid and volunteers.

Flotilla participants, fully aware of the risks, insist that silence in the face of genocide and starvation is more dangerous than sailing, and vowed to continue onward despite threats.

BN: Hey DJT I need you to take out the rest of leadership in Iran.
DJT: Wow. Let's deal. First I need you to let up on Gaza for a few months. Let 2-state fade.
BN: I could use getting the hostages back for sure. Also know that by hook or by crook any peace won't last long so sure. You said 'first', there's more?
DJT: One more... I need you to apologize to Qatar. I can't have them looking away if blowback is aimed at my command there.
BN: Wow. I will have to think about that. I'll get back to you in a few days.
DJT: No worries. I'll need to bring all my generals back for a face-to-face; seems some leaks happen even in our most secure systems. Can't have a leak about starting the next world war. I'll get to work Boss.

‼️ Major US Air Force tanker deployment spotted heading to Qatar

Open-source flight tracking data has revealed a large US Air Force movement of at least a dozen KC-135 Stratotankers and one KC-46A Pegasus aerial refueling aircraft from the Atlantic to Qatar.

The tankers stopped at RAF Mildenhall and RAF Prestwick in the UK before continuing toward Al-Udeid Air Base near Doha, though the exact number expected to land remains unclear.

Observers note the deployment may likely involve fighter jets, which typically do not appear on public tracking platforms.

⭕️ According to Israeli state TV and Ynet, the Israeli military’s plan for an operation against the 47-vessel Global Sumud Flotilla, which is sailing to break the Gaza blockade, is taking shape:

– Shayetet 13, the Israeli Navy’s elite commando unit, together with the rest of the fleet, will seize control of the flotilla’s ships.

– Activists will be taken ashore by naval vessels.

– Upon arrival in Israel, they will be sent to Ktzi'ot Prison; those who accept deportation will be returned to their countries.

– Some ships will be towed to shore, others may be sunk.

– Around 500 police will be deployed to Ashdod Port during the disembarkation of activists.

– Hospitals in Ashdod and surrounding areas have been ordered to prepare for casualties.

❗️BBC: Senior Hamas official says group will reject Trump’s Gaza 20-point-plan

A senior Hamas official told the BBC that the movement is expected to reject US President Donald Trump's Gaza 20-point-plan, saying it "serves Israel's interests" and "ignores those of the Palestinian people."

The official said Hamas is unlikely to accept disarmament or the surrender of its weapons, a central condition of Trump’s proposal.

The group is also reported to oppose the deployment of an International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza, viewing it as another form of occupation.

⭕️ Qatar, Egypt & Turkiye pressuring Hamas to accept Trump's 20-point plan, which includes last-minute revisions by Netanyahu

Qatar, Egypt, and Turkiye are urging Hamas to respond positively to President Trump’s new 20-point so-called 'peace' proposal for ending the genocide in Gaza, according to multiple sources familiar with the talks quoted by Axios.

The three countries, acting as key mediators with close ties to Hamas, have met the group’s leaders twice in the last 24 hours. Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani and Egyptian intelligence chief Hassan Rashad presented the plan to Hamas in Doha on Monday night as Trump unveiled it publicly, with both officials pressing for acceptance.

Al-Thani reportedly told Hamas leaders this was the best deal they could expect, stressing that Trump appeared committed to ending the war and that the US guarantee should be considered sufficient. Hamas leaders replied that they would study the proposal in good faith, while Al-Thani later told Al Jazeera that the plan’s main value is in achieving a ceasefire, though it still requires development and clarification.

The plan, however, carries significant last-minute changes made at the insistence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which have angered Arab officials and could pose a major obstacle for Hamas. It calls for a phased Israeli withdrawal tied directly to Hamas’s full disarmament, with Israel retaining veto power and the possibility of keeping a long-term "security perimeter" inside Gaza.

While the proposal offers includes the release of Palestinian prisoners and a surge in humanitarian aid, its conditions on disarmament and withdrawal remain difficult to accept. Trump has said Hamas has only three to four days to respond and warned that “there isn’t much room” for further negotiations, while US officials insist they are open to clarifications but will not reopen the plan itself.

BREAKING | Israel moves to encircle Gaza City, closes last road south, War Minister says anyone left behind will be considered 'terrorists'

Israeli War Minister Israel Katz said troops are moving to fully encircle Gaza City by seizing the western part of the Netzarim Corridor, cutting across the Strip from south of the city to the coast. He explained that this maneuver would tighten the encirclement and force anyone leaving Gaza City to pass through Israeli military checkpoints. Earlier in the day, the military announced that the Al-Rashid coastal road northbound into the city would close at noon, effectively sealing the last remaining route.

Katz described the closure as the “last opportunity” for residents to move south, claiming those who remain in Gaza City would be considered “terrorists and supporters of terror.”

‼️ Israel accuses Global Sumud Flotilla of being ‘Hamas project,’ says ships owned by Hamas
——
Israel’s Foreign Ministry is now accusing the Global Sumud Flotilla of being a Hamas project, claiming newly uncovered documents from Gaza show direct links between flotilla leaders and Hamas’s overseas network.

Israel points to the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad (PCPA), which it describes as Hamas’s foreign wing, as the body mobilizing flotillas under civilian cover. It highlights an alleged 2021 letter from Ismail Haniyeh endorsing the PCPA, a list of operatives that includes long-time flotilla organizer Zaher Birawi, and the role of Saif Abu Kashk, head of a Spanish company alleged to own vessels participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla: "Thus, these ships are secretly owned by Hamas," says the foreign ministry.

Israel is framing the Sumud Flotilla as a Hamas operation, using these documents to brand it as 'terrorist'-linked rather than humanitarian — a narrative that gives a pretext for attacking the fleet.

This accusation follows recent public comments from former Israeli military figures calling for forceful military action. Admiral (Res.) Eliezer “Chayni” Marom, who oversaw the 2010 Mavi Marmara attack, warned: “(The arrival of the flotilla) is a very complex event, and it could definitely end in high friction, and in loss of life and property.” Lt. Col. (Res.) Maurice Hirsch, a 19-year veteran of Israel’s Military Advocate General Corps, added: “Anyone who tries to break the blockade, we should just drown them ... If we'd done that 10 years ago (referring to Mavi 2010), other flotillas wouldn't have arrived.”

❗️AFP: Hamas weighs amendments to Trump’s Gaza plan amid mediator pressure

A source close to Hamas told AFP the group is considering changes to President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan for Gaza, particularly clauses on disarmament and the departure of its fighters.

Intensive consultations are underway within Hamas leadership in Gaza and abroad, and with mediators in Doha. Four meetings were held Monday with Qatari and Egyptian officials, joined by Turkish representatives, where Hamas insisted on international guarantees for a full Israeli withdrawal and respect for a ceasefire.

Trump’s plan, backed by Netanyahu, calls for an immediate halt to the war once accepted, the release of captives and Palestinian prisoners, Hamas disarmament, and governance of Gaza by a technocratic committee under international oversight, including former British PM Tony Blair. Israel would gradually withdraw but retain a “security belt.”

According to AFP, there are two main views within Hamas: one favoring unconditional acceptance with mediators ensuring Israel’s compliance, and another rejecting disarmament and the forced removal of members, favoring conditional approval with clarifications.

No final decision has been made, with Hamas expected to announce its stance within days. Trump has threatened the movement with a “bleak fate” if it refuses, while Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani emphasized the plan needs more clarification, especially regarding Israeli withdrawal, stressing the priority is to end the war.
