The DOJ has just released transcripts and audio from two days of interviews last month with Jeffrey Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, who said that President Trump was "never inappropriate with anybody" while he and Epstein were associates, and that her father was an intelligence asset.
Robert Maxwell, a media tycoon and former Labour MP, was notably given a state funeral in Jerusalem after 'accidentally' falling off his Yacht, the "Lady Ghislaine." He was long speculated to have been a secret agent for the Mossad, the Israeli intelligence office that is equivalent to the CIA. By proxy, that suspicion has led to speculation that the intelligence agency Epstein was associated with was the Mossad as well.
"It’s not beyond the realm of possibility that Epstein had connections to the [Israeli intelligence community]," said Miami Herald investigative reporter Julie K. Brown, whose investigative reporting was the reason that the Epstein case was reopened after it was buried by federal prosecutors in 2008. "Robert Maxwell certainly had those kinds of connections, and Epstein had a close relationship with Robert Maxwell."
>To the DOJ's credit, they did at least ask Ghislaine Maxwell about the long-alleged potential Israeli intelligence links to the story. But the exchange is frustrating and reflects a lack of serious interest or depth by the questioner. He asks Ghislaine specifically about Mossad:

The US Department of Defense has asked Congress for more than $3.5 billion in “emergency” funds to refill weapons stockpiles depleted by operations linked to Israel.
The request centers on missile interceptors fired since October 2023, including around $1bn for RTX’s SM-3 systems, which US Navy destroyers used in April 2024 against Iranian strikes.
Another $204m is allocated for Lockheed Martin’s THAAD interceptors, alongside millions for radar maintenance, vessel repairs, and munitions transport.
The budget papers highlight growing costs for the US military presence in West Asia and rising concerns in Washington over the ability to replenish supplies while continuing to arm Israel.

Syria's Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani met with an Israeli delegation in Paris to "discuss a number of issues related to strengthening stability in the region and southern Syria," according to SANA.
The talks reportedly focused on de-escalation, non-interference in Syria’s internal affairs, reaching understandings that support regional stability, monitoring the ceasefire in the Suwayda province, and reactivating the 1974 Agreement.
These discussions are taking place under US mediation.
