Former US Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet says he believes UFO whistleblowers like David Grusch are telling the truth about governmental “non-human” retrieval missions.

“This technology, we’re still trying to learn about and it could give us an advantage in any military conflict,” Gallaudet told NewsNation.

“That’s a good reason not to disclose the nature of the technology. I think.."

“However, I think it’s about time that we do disclose that we are in contact with non-human intelligence, that’s what needs to be put out there in the public.”

Human Rights Watch Says Israel Is Using Starvation as Weapon of War

HRW says the Israeli tactic is a war crime

Human Rights Watch released a report on Monday that said Israel is committing a war crime in Gaza by using starvation as a weapon of war against civilians.

HRW said Israeli forces are “deliberately blocking the delivery of water, food, and fuel, while willfully impeding humanitarian assistance, apparently razing agricultural areas, and depriving the civilian population of objects indispensable to their survival.”

The report pointed to comments from Israeli officials expressing their aim to deprive Palestinian civilians of food and other basic necessities. At the beginning of the onslaught, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced a “complete siege” on the already-blockaded Gaza Strip and said the Israeli military was fighting “human animals.”

Israel has since allowed limited aid deliveries through Gaza’s border crossing with Egypt, but HRW said the amount of aid is “at grossly insufficient levels.” UN officials have said the increased Israeli military operations in south Gaza have made relief efforts impossible.

Breaking News: The Colorado Supreme Court has disqualified Donald Trump from the 2024 ballot for president, citing the 14th Amendment, alleging he incited a riot at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The legal theories are based on section 3 of the US Constitution's 14th Amendment, which states public officials who have "engaged in insurrection or rebellion" against the US may be disqualified from public office.

Trump has not been charged with engaging in insurrection or rebellion against the US. The state's high court left room for an appeal. The ruling will go into effect on January 4, 2024.

Trump will likely appeal the ruling to the US Supreme Court. Similar 14th Amendment lawsuits are being fought in states across the nation. Last month, the Minnesota Supreme Court flatly rejected a bid to block President Trump from the primary ballot.

Video Confirms Tank Struck Home With Israeli Captives On 7 Oct

The evidence continues to grow that many Israelis killed during Hamas' 7 October attack were killed by Israeli forces themselves

Video from a police helicopter shows that an Israeli tank opened fire on a house where 13 Israeli captives were killed during Hamas’ 7 October attack on military bases and settlements surrounding besieged Gaza, Israel’s 12 News reported on 18 December.

...The killing of the 13 captives by Israeli tank fire was already known due to testimony from 44-year-old Yasmin Porat, who was held with the captives in the same house before she was able to escape. But the video from the police helicopter that responded to the scene confirms this.

After Hamas fighters took over the house and gathered captives there, Israel’s elite counter terror force, Yamam, responded and immediately initiated a fire fight with the Hamas fighters.

While with the soldiers who had surrounded the house, Porat turned to one of the soldiers and asked if the tank shells would not harm the other captives still inside. The soldier replied that "they only do it on the sides to take down walls.”

Hadas Dagan, the only other captive besides Porat to survive, said that she herself was hit by a shrapnel from the tank shell. The report stated that soldiers who were in the kibbutz said that the shot recorded from the helicopter was a warning shot after which the tank was hit, and then another tank arrived and shot at the house once more.

Three of those killed in the home were 12-year-old Liel Hetzroni, her twin brother Yanai, and their aunt Ayla, who raised them. Israeli broadcaster Kan reported that Liel’s relatives held a farewell ceremony for her, rather than a burial ceremony, because there was nothing left of her body.

When the remains of Liel’s body were finally identified, only ash and bone fragments remained.

The police helicopter video adds to the growing evidence that Israeli forces themselves killed many of the 1,200 Israeli soldiers and civilians who died on 7 October during the Hamas attack.

Though Liel was killed by the Israeli army, Naftali Bennett, the former Israeli Prime Minister, blamed her death on Hamas, claiming “Liel Hetzroni of Kibbutz Beeri was murdered in her home by Hamas monsters.”

While speaking to members of the foreign press on 14 October, Lt. Col. Golan Vach of a military search and rescue team gave insight into why the army used tanks to target Israeli homes on 7 October.

During a briefing to journalists in front of a burnt and destroyed house, Vach claimed that Hamas had gathered 15 people inside, including eight babies, “and they killed them, and they burned them.” He also claimed he personally removed the body of a mother and her baby who had been beheaded inside the house.

But when pressed by a journalist how Hamas had caused such destruction, Col. Vach reluctantly acknowledged, “Our tanks attacked, because they [Hamas] were blocked in these houses, and we need[ed] to conquer back the whole settlement. And it couldn’t be happen [sic] without the tanks.”

Google to Limit Answers to Election Queries on Bard AI Tool and Generative Search

Google released a blog post on Dec 19 explaining its plans to implement restrictions on specific election-related queries that its artificial intelligence (AI) bot Bard and its Search Generative Experience can answer.

It said this restriction will be enforced by early 2024, in the run-up to the presidential election in the United States.

The post pointed out that 2024 will see many other important elections around the globe alongside the U.S. presidential election. It said it will “work with an increased focus on the role artificial intelligence (AI) might play.”

One Week Ago - Newsweek - Bizarre Etsy Listings Spark Conspiracy Theories

A number of listings on Etsy featuring high price tags for photos featuring children have sparked a conspiracy theory that human traffickers have been using the e-commerce platform to facilitate their crimes.

On Tuesday, photos were shared on X, formerly Twitter, showing images of children smiling as they held slices of pizza. One showed a girl winking at the camera, while another showed a young girl winking and poking her tongue out. In the screenshots, they held price tags of $4,000 each.

Another showed a picture of two whole pizzas sitting side by side with a cost of $9,000. Other screenshots show colorful illustrations of children eating pizzas. They carry even heftier price tags, with the highest exceeding $32,700. A "rare find" listing showing a child in a knitted ensemble is up for more than $35,000.

In a check by Newsweek, all of the listings and their associated accounts have been deleted as of press time. There is no evidence to suggest that Etsy was involved in any illegal activity. Newsweek has contacted representatives of Etsy via email for comment.

As Gaza Death Toll Crosses 20,000, Aid Group Warns True Number Is Higher

After ten weeks of Israeli military operations in Gaza, authorities have counted 20,000 dead Palestinians. An overwhelming number of the dead are innocent civilians with no ties to Hamas. An aid group warns the actual death toll is likely higher as thousands of missing Gazans lay dead or dying under the rubble. Israeli officials say civilian deaths are a part of eliminating Hamas.

“As the official death toll in Gaza passes 20,000, Islamic Relief is warning that the actual toll is likely to be even higher – as thousands of people are still missing and buried under the rubble and young children are increasingly suffering severe hunger and disease,” a press release from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said. “To see 20,000 people killed in such a short space of time is a stain on the world’s conscience.”

According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, the dead include 8,000 children and 6,200 women. At least an additional 50,000 are injured.

An Israeli official told reporters on Wednesday that the mass destruction of civilian targets in Gaza is a part of Tel Aviv’s strategy of defeating Hamas. Reuters reports a legal advisor to the Israeli Defence Forces said the IDF was carrying out “thousands and thousands of attacks and often attacks that require heavy firepower” to destroy tunnels under Gaza used by Hamas. He added, “Really tragically that results in a large number of civilian casualties.”
