Katz: Israel To Begin Annexing Gaza
The Defense Minister explained that Israel will begin seizing territory and will not stop until all hostages are released
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the IDF will begin annexing parts of the Gaza Strip. President Donald Trump and Israeli officials have discussed expelling the Palestinians from the Strip.
“I have instructed the IDF to seize additional areas in Gaza, while evacuating the population, and to expand the security zones around Gaza for the protection of Israeli communities and IDF soldiers,” he said on Friday. “The more Hamas persists in its refusal to release the hostages, the more territory it will lose, which will be annexed to Israel.”
On Wednesday, Katz directly threatened the civilian population of Gaza with “utter destruction and devastation” if they did not release the hostage and expel Hamas from Gaza. He added if the Palestinians did that, then they would be allowed to leave Gaza for another country.
While Katz is demanding Hamas release the hostages, the renewed assault on the Strip breaks a hostage and ceasefire deal that would have led to the release of the remains of the Israeli captives. Since Israel resumed bombing Gaza, at least 500 have been killed, including 200 children.
President Trump has said he wants to remove all Palestinians from Gaza to build a resort city there. He said the Gazans would not be allowed back, and refugee cities would be built in other countries.

Both Israel and the US have threatened to bomb Iraq due to the support given by Shia armed factions for Gaza and Yemen
Washington has demanded that Iraq disarm and dismantle Shia resistance factions in the country, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported on 21 March.
US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth issued the demand to Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani during a phone call last Sunday,

US citizens found guilty of the recent attacks on Elon Musk’s company could face up to 20 years in prison, the president has said
US President Donald Trump has suggested that those convicted of the recent spate of attacks against Tesla facilities could be sent to El Salvador’s notorious mega prison.
Tesla dealerships and vehicles in the US have been targeted by numerous attacks in what US Attorney General Pam Bondi has labeled “domestic terrorism.”
In a message on his social media platform Truth Social on Friday, Trump suggested that people found guilty of the attacks could be sent to El Salvador’s penal system.
“I look forward to watching the sick terrorist thugs get 20 year jail sentences for what they are doing to Elon Musk and Tesla,” he wrote.
"Perhaps they could serve them in the prisons of El Salvador, which have become so recently famous for such lovely conditions!"
The backlash against Tesla is partly attributable to CEO Elon Musk’s role as adviser to Trump. As government efficiency czar, Musk is overseeing significant budget cuts and reductions in the federal workforce.
Since late January, dozens of attacks have targeted Tesla cars, dealerships and charging stations in the US and Canada, sometimes accompanied by anti-Musk graffiti. Multiple cars and charging stations have been set on fire with Molotov cocktails, and several incidents have included gunshots being fired at dealerships.
Three people have been charged for fire-bombing the EVs and charging stations so far, according to a press release on Thursday from the US Department of Justice. All three face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
Last month, Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele suggested Washington could send its convicts, including US citizens, to serve time in El Salvador’s notorious jail system. The comment came as Trump has embarked on a crackdown on illegal immigration and gang violence.

Since late January, dozens of attacks have targeted Tesla cars, dealerships and charging stations in the US and Canada, sometimes accompanied by anti-Musk graffiti. Multiple cars and charging stations have been set on fire with Molotov cocktails, and several incidents have included gunshots being fired at dealerships.
Three people have been charged for fire-bombing the EVs and charging stations so far, according to a press release on Thursday from the US Department of Justice. All three face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
Last month, Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele suggested Washington could send its convicts, including US citizens, to serve time in El Salvador’s notorious jail system. The comment came as Trump has embarked on a crackdown on illegal immigration and gang violence.

NC Senate Officially Passes Constitutional Carry Bill
Permitless carry legislation passed the state Senate on Thursday, eclipsing a major hurdle to make constitutional carry legal across North Carolina.
The Freedom to Carry NC bill ( Senate Bill 50 ) passed in a 26-18 vote along party lines. The bill would allow individuals to carry a concealed handgun without a permit across North Carolina. The state will still allow North Carolinians to obtain a concealed carry permit for the purpose of reciprocity agreements with other states .
“This is the next step in creating a freer North Carolina,” said bill sponsors Sens. Danny Earl Britt, R-Robeson, Warren Daniel, R-Burke, and Eddie Settle, R-Wilkes, in a joint statement. “Law-abiding citizens deserve to exercise their Second Amendment rights without government interference. It is time for North Carolina to join the ranks of the 29 other states that have constitutional carry.”
