Recent footage shows Fuerzas Especiales Mencho in an apparent offensive with a sicario shouting "We've arrived." The location is likely Jalisco, as they are led by El XX or 20 a commander or possible leader of the FEM faction of CJNG in Jalisco.

Recent footage of Gente del Guano operating in Sinaloa, most likely Badiraguato. This same account also recently uploaded a video that shows 2 small planes that I presume to be full of sicarios being transported.

Many members of both factions are not included on this map. Sometimes it's because the cartel figure is a high-level lieutenant like Gabito or Comanche. Sometimes a cartel figure was not included because there is a limited amount of space on the map. A more complete chart for each faction to follow soon.

Due to the nature of this war, where both cartel factions are using propaganda to sway public perception of who is taking/defending each location, it is impossible to be certain which faction controls any location. Some locations will inevitably be incorrect or will have been recently taken over by a different group.

As the dust settles and information becomes more clear, updates and changes will be made to the map."
