Following recent drama happening around the lead developer, the lead designer decided to leave the project quietly.
This action of his was discovered during a regular check on the Telegram channel stats.
While it's understandable that he has his own reasons to step down from his role as the lead designer, this action puts the future of the project at potential risk.
Because of this change, we're once again looking for designers willing to commit to the project long term.
If no designer is found until the next redesign of Android, the project will be rebranded to Project Kasumi: AOA and reuse the design elements from then-in-development Project Kasumi v2 "PasuPare" to keep things going for the short term.
And this is why you don't trust indirect connections for roles like this.

The upstream developer already fixed this issue, and I'm working on releasing an update on this matter.
I switched to One UI just because of this issue, but guess I'll be back to CiRCLE again. :P

Let's begin the beta! Phase 1! Ready! As we're stepping into beta, it's about time we introduce ourselves to the vast Android community out there! Hello, we're two developers and two designers working together to make a ROM that's no-bullshit, no-unnecessary…

Hello! We're two computer engineering students and three designers working together to make a ROM that's no-crap, no-unnecessary-bloat and no-gore that's themed around the BanG Dream! franchise while being based on LineageOS.
We believe in a philosophy that even LineageOS-based ROMs can be good and original when the developers behind them know what they're doing.
Examples of what we provide that most ROMs don't are as follows:
1. Charging sounds based on battery percentage at which the device is plugged in. (Original)
2. Battery saver on charge. (Original)
3. Boot animation that goes between light and dark theme depending on the system theme. (Original, also available on halcyon)
4. Face unlock without the ugly face icon. (Original implementation cherry-picked, face icon removed manually)
5. Nix FHS environment for reproducible build environment. (Adapted from halogenOS)
On the side, the lead developer is maintaining a revival of your favorite anime ROM, Project Kasumi!

Starting today, maintainers will work on rolling out this patch update which includes some small but valuable changes.
This version includes the following new stuff:
- F-Droid Privileged Extension. This means you won't have to keep F-Droid in the foreground when installing/updating apps from there.
With the following fixups:
- Proper space support for the maintainer property. This means your maintainer can now put their full name and list multiple maintainers if they desire.
Good luck with building! Every update is meant to improve our ROM and how it behaves!

It hasn't even been half a year but we've been through a lot.
We've battled our way through thick and thin. People showed their true faces. Some established trusts have been broken. We've been betrayed. We've seen quite a few waves of raids happen in our channels across three different platforms.
We've experienced what ROMs like EvolutionX went through throughout years, within mere months.
Every time we had a raid, we as the admins shut it down within 12 hours, and heck, sometimes we as the admins even battled it live just as they were getting started.
We have been betrayed, but the community immediately stepped in. There are now three active designers, one of which is widely known as a pro in the Android community, working to supersede what the old designers of this saga (both Kasumi and CiRCLE) did.
The core team now consists of 2 developers and 3 designers. One of the three designers is the lead designer for CiRCLE, and the other is the lead designer for Kasumi. Both of them have their own unique styles, and they do a great job at complimenting the design languages of the respective ROMs.
As for the code itself, the development is getting slower for now, but we'll pick up the pace once s5e8825 gets AOSP 17. The base source manifest has already been pushed, but it only produces pure Lineage 24.0 for now.
And, as always, thank you. Thank you all for staying with us through thick and thin. Thank you to the members of the community for keeping it alive. Thank you to the contributors for their contributions. If this project was monetized, I would've definitely dedicated some share to everyone who helped and still help keep the project alive.
As I tell the people who joined the core team after CiRCLE was founded during their on-boarding: Project CiRCLE is a work of heart, willingness and long term dedication.
Now, I will expand on this and say that everyone who contributed to CiRCLE gets credit, whether through their plugs, commit authorship, team profile card on the website or a dedicated credits entry in the ROM manifest README.
Leading a custom ROM is no small feat, sure, but it's all pointless without a trustworthy community.
So, for one last time, thank you for helping shape CiRCLE into what it is, and I'm looking forward to keep up with the engagement with you all in the long run.
Speaking of which, come say hi in the community group! You don't even have to confine yourself into CiRCLE strictly there. You can talk about everything as long as you follow common sense and show respect to the members of the community.

We're collaborating with CharaROM for a shared codebase for specific LineageOS repositories to improve on them and give them some chaotic touches!
We could've worked on a complete shared base as a whole, but that would mean one of us would have to compromise. (Either CiRCLE would have to rebase on crDroid, which has plenty of features most of which go unused, or CharaROM would have to rebase on Lineage, which doesn't have enough features to give the vibes of crDroid.)
The project is called ChaoticLineage. More info will be available as we make some progress.

As many of you already know, months ago the former owner of this project got involved in extremely serious and unacceptable scandals — including inappropriate exposure involving minors and other severe allegations. For anyone who wants to check the full context and documented evidence, everything was compiled by @KrugerBeru (https://t.me/KrugerBeru/181). Right after the scandal broke out, he deleted his account and vanished.
Due to Telegram's automatic ownership transfer system for abandoned channels, ownership unexpectedly fell to me. I am just someone who has absolutely nothing to do with those actions, and I strongly condemn everything that was done.
I never asked to own this channel, and I certainly don't want my name associated with this legacy in any way. The only reason I'm logging in here today is to put a definitive end to this matter and shut down this space.
Effective immediately, this channel is being permanently deleted. Justice and the proper authorities need to deal with what happened, and this chapter ends here.
