________ became popular as employees stopped doing extra tasks without fair pay.
Quiet Vacationing!!!😀😀😀

Without any further adieu,
Forbes :)

What Companies Should Learn From Employees ‘Quiet Quitting’
Quiet quitting is defined as doing the basic requirements of a job, usually with disengagement. There are important lessons organizations need to learn to self-correct.

📝 1⃣ 📝 📝 📝 📝 📝 📝 📝
Quiet quitting happens when employees only do their basic job without extra effort. This trend shows problems in many workplaces.
Some companies expect too much from workers, which leads to stress and burnout. Employees want realistic goals and recognition for their work. They also prefer jobs that allow them to grow without feeling overworked.
During the pandemic, people realized the importance of life outside of work. Many now choose a better work/life balance over higher pay. Companies that don’t offer flexibility lose good employees.
Quiet quitting often happens in toxic workplaces where people feel unsupported. Workers need spaces to share concerns without fear. However, quiet quitting does not mean employees hate everything about their jobs. They may still enjoy their tasks, paycheck, or colleagues.
Companies should listen to employees to understand their needs. Surveys and feedback can help solve issues. Quiet quitting can be a chance for businesses to improve their culture. Valued and supported employees stay motivated and loyal.

Workplace ghosting
What is that??? Any ideas?

How are you, guys? Let's cheer each other up

✨ Cheer up!
✨ Keep your chin up!
✨ Hang in there!
✨ Don’t let it get you down.
✨ You’ve got this!
✨ Every cloud has a silver lining.
✨ This too shall pass. –

‘Quiet Vacationing’ Raises Ethical Questions This Summer
In a recent survey by Harris Poll, nearly 40% of Millennial workers said they take time off without formally communicating it to their manager.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/jackkelly/2024/05/29/quiet-vacationing-raises-ethical-questions-this-summer/
🔴 drag on - затягиваться
🔴 corporate culture - корпоративная культура
🔴 paid time off (PTO) - оплачиваемый отпуск
🔴 pressure to always be available - чувство давление всегда быть на связи
🔴 burned out - эмоционально выгоревший
📝 1⃣ 📝 📝 📝 📝 📝 📝 📝
Summer is a slow time for job seekers because many hiring managers take vacations. Some employees, feeling tired, start "quiet vacationing," where they pretend to work while taking time off. A survey showed that 40% of Millennials avoid officially asking for time off, fearing negative reactions from their managers. Many workers believe the current corporate culture makes it hard to take vacations. Most American workers do not use all their vacation days because they feel pressured to stay available.
"Quiet vacationing" might help workers recharge but can harm trust with employers and cause problems for colleagues. Employees who lie about taking time off might face punishment, including being fired. If you feel burned out, it's better to talk to your manager about taking a break or explore remote work options. Open communication about vacations can help avoid misunderstandings and improve relationships at work.

A study showed many workers feel scared to ask for vacation days. They think their boss will be unhappy. Many workers do not take all their vacation days because they feel pressure to work.
Quiet vacationing can help workers rest, but it can also cause problems. The company loses time, and coworkers have more work. Lying about vacations can get workers in trouble.
