.
(*"Raje, you may have left us, but your voice still echoes in our blood! You built Hindavi Swarajya with your sword, and now we shall protect it with our lives! This Mavala swears to keep your Swarajya alive till his last breath!"*)
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was the founder and the king of Maratha Empire and a symbol of valor, wisdom, and governance. Born on February 19, 1630, at Shivneri Fort, he was raised by his mother, Jijabai, who instilled in him the ideals of Swarajya. With his guerrilla warfare tactics (Ganimi Kava), he challenged the mighty Mughal and Adilshahi forces, securing forts and expanding his empire. Shivaji Maharaj was not just a fearless warrior but also a visionary ruler who implemented progressive administration, naval expansion, and religious tolerance. His coronation on June 6, 1674, at Raigad Fort, marked the beginning of independent Maratha rule. Even in adversity, such as his imprisonment in Agra, he displayed intelligence and resilience, successfully escaping Aurangzeb’s grasp. His Rajmudra (royal seal) symbolized eternal sovereignty and justice for his people. Shivaji Maharaj’s legacy continues to inspire generations as a warrior king, strategic leader, and protector of Hindavi Swarajya.

The Rajmudra (Royal Seal) of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was a symbol of his sovereignty and the continuation of Swarajya. Unlike Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's detailed Sanskrit seal, Sambhaji Maharaj's Shambhu Mudra was simpler but equally powerful.
