#QTUMUSD (Rang#78)
#OMGUSD (Rang #56)
๐ Since a few days, I closely monitor these 3 tokens because they have been solid projects since their creation in 2017, and their teams/managements have always preferred to invest their whole budget in the development of their blockchain/products, rather than in marketing to only pump their token prices. That's partly for this reason that they are still in the Top-100, with their reliable and active Dev's teams, but also due to a strong support from their communities in several forum and social media.
๐ Today, these 3 tokens are completely undervalued, but "Uptober" could be their turn to have bullrun rallies, with return to their ATH and even much higher, which would bring them back in the Top-50.

Since the "2017 Alts Season" when almost the entire market was in bullrun, this has evolved for months with bullruns of small groups of 4-6 coins, and which change every 7-10 days after reaching their high targets. IMHO, in the list below you have at least 2-3 coins that should be part of the next bullrun departure.

QTUM Crypto Sees Upswing as Investors Lean Into โGreenโ Currencies
QTUM crypto is ballooning recently as developers lean into the coin's low environmental impact, which stands in stark contrast to BTC and ETH.
โก๏ธQTUM Core v22.1 Hard Fork July 31โผ๏ธ
I'm sure there are always #Qtumfams even if they are low key like the Qtum Dev team. ๐
If some Crypto Dev teams spend more than they should with excessive marketing budgets to boost their token's price, it's the opposite with the Qtum team which devotes its entire budget to development, some conferences, and salaries. One of the few articles with Patrick Dai, founder of Qtum Foundation that published in Cointegraph (2021) had pumped up $QTM price by more than 150%
#Qtum is a blockchain that combines the security of Bitcoin's blockchain model and the flexibility of Ethereum's smart contracts. It uses a #PoS consensus model for creating new blocks, which is far easier and less energy-intensive than Bitcoin's #PoW model.

One of the most stable and capable layer-1 chains is soon to have a mandatory hard fork, which will make the chain support Bitcoins Taproot.

โจLayer-1 & Layer-2 Blockchain Scaling Solutions
For blockchains to compete with legacy payments processors, they need to be able to process high volumes of transactions quickly, at a low cost.
โซ๏ธWhy is Scalability Important?
The main goal of scalability is to increase transaction speed (faster finality) and transaction throughput (higher transactions per second) without sacrificing decentralization or security.
โซ๏ธThere are 2 primary ways to achieve blockchain scalability: Layer-1 & Layer-2 Solutions. ๐๐
1๏ธโฃ LAYER-1
It's a network that acts as infrastructure for other applications, protocols, and networks to build on top of. A public decentralized layer-1 network's primary characteristic is its consensus mechanism.

๐น#Ethereum 2.0 is one high-profile blockchain protocol that is exploring shards, along with #Zilliqa, #Tezos, and #Qtum.
2๏ธโฃ LAYER-2
It refers to a secondary framework or protocol that is built on top of an existing blockchain system. The main goal of these protocols is to solve the transaction speed and scaling difficulties that are being faced by the major crypto networks.

โซ๏ธLayer-1 vs Layer-2 Key Differences
The main difference between layer-1 vs layer-2 scalability solutions lies in their role and focus on the blockchain. ๐๐๐
๐ Layer-1 is here to improve the blockchain architecture, while layer-2 is here to build third-party networks on top of the main blockchain.
๐ Layer-1 can provide the most effective solution in large-scale protocol upgrades. However, using this method also means that the validator must be convinced to accept changes via a hard fork.
๐ Layer-2 provides a faster way to increase scalability. However, users can potentially lose the level of security of the original blockchain due to the use of third parties.
โซ๏ธConclusion
๐๐ปLayer-1 and layer-2 are just two sides of the same scaling solution. Therefore, they have a strategy designed to make the blockchain network faster and more accommodating for a rapidly growing user base.
๐๐ปThese strategies also do not outperform each other, and many blockchain networks are exploring combinations of layer-1 and layer-2 scaling solutions on blockchains to achieve increased scalability without compromising security or adequate decentralization.

$QTUM, Part of Next Bullrunโ๏ธ
#Qtum is a decentralized, independent public blockchain platform that combines the security of #Bitcoinโs blockchain model and the flexibility of #Ethereumโs smart contracts, created in 2017.
Patrick Dai and his Dev team have always been active but always discreet. They are the complete opposite of "speculation tokens" which will spend a large portion of their budget on advertising to increase their token price. No marketing for #Qtum that seems to do not care about their token price and prefers to invest in their project development, company, salaries, etc. Note that 97% of the supply is in circulation and that there are many wallets with large volumes that never sell until now.
