How to Shift Publication Time for a Post Copied to Other Channels

You can change the publication time across all channels at once — even if the posts were originally scheduled for different times.

To do this:

1. Open the post in any channel through "Content plan" or "Change post" section.
2. At the bottom line you'll see the "All" tab. Select it so that changes occur in both the main and all additional channels.
3. Tap "Change time".
4. Choose what you need to do — set a new time or shift the publication time in the format:

+2h – shift 2 hours forward
-30m – shift 30 minutes back

5. Confirm the changes.

Important: The bot recalculates the time for each channel automatically. If the post in the first channel was scheduled for 12:00 and in the second for 14:00, shifting by "+1h" will make them 13:00 and 15:00 respectively.

2. Click "Select Group."
3. Choose the needed group from the list or use the search.

💡 You can only add groups where you are the owner or an admin with permissions to pin messages and add other admins.

Second method — through the administrators section in the group

1. Go to the "Administrators" section in the group settings.
2. Click "Add."
3. Enter the bot's username in the search bar.
4. Set the permissions and confirm adding the bot as an admin.

How to Connect a Topic to the Bot

Topics are separate threads within a Telegram group that help structure communication across different areas.

💡 If the ability to create topics isn't enabled yet, go to your group settings and turn on the "Topics" toggle.

1. Connect the group to the bot using the /addchannel command

2. Then go to the topic you want to add to the bot and send the /addtopic command there

You'll see a message with a emoji in response. This means the topic has been successfully connected to the bot.

Important: If you see , turn off “Remain Anonymous” for your own admin account in the group settings and try again.

After connecting the first topic, go to the others and repeat the process.

After that, the topics will appear in the bot's general list of connected channels/groups. You'll be able to post to them individually, set up different templates and schedules for each topic.

How to Create a Separate Project and Start Working in It

Projects are completely isolated workspaces. Each project has its own channels, editors, settings, and content calendar. This helps separate work — for example, keeping your channels separate from partner ones or managing multiple channel networks independently.

💡 Your first project is created automatically upon registration with a random name. You can rename it at any time.

All project actions begin in the "My Projects" menu (/projects command).

How to Create a New Project

1. "My Projects" "Manage" "New Project."
2. Send the project name to the bot.
3. After that, the "Select channel" and "Select group" menu will open. Connect the ones you need.

How to Rename a Project

1. "My Projects" "Manage" "Rename Project."
2. Select the project you want to rename from the list.
3. Send the new name to the bot.

💡 You can only rename a project on your own account. If other editors are working on this project, the name will remain unchanged for them.

How to Transfer a Project to Another User

You can transfer a project to another user only if you are the owner of the project and the other user is assigned as its admin. After the transfer, you will automatically swap roles: the other user will receive owner status, and you will become an admin.

After transferring ownership, both accounts will retain in the project:

🫙Configured publication schedule
🫙Content calendar
🫙Default settings
🫙Templates

1. If the other user is not yet assigned as an admin of your project, assign them first. See the article:

How to add new team members

2. Go to "My Projects" "Manage" "Transfer Ownership."
3. Select the project you want to transfer from the list.
4. The bot will show a list of current project admins. Choose who should receive owner rights.
5. Confirm the transfer.

How to Add New Team Members

Make sure the user has activated @posto. If not, they need to follow the link t.me/PostoRobot and click "Start".

The username above is for the premium Posto bot. If you have your own scheduling bot, the new team member must activate it, not the premium bot.

1. In the bot, open the "Settings" menu "Editors" and click "New Editor."
2. In the bottom menu, click "Select Users" — a contact list will open. You can select up to 10 people at a time.
3. When all users are added, click "Return to Editors List."

💡 When you add a new editor, your project appears in their "My Projects" menu or in the /projects command.

❗️Note! Each newly added editor is automatically granted these permissions:

- Create, edit, and delete posts — basic posting permissions.
- Configure posting — save default settings, manage templates and folders, change schedule slots, and other parameters that affect other editors.

If you don't want to grant the new editor posting configuration permissions, disable them.

Similarly, users are typically denied rights to work with posts if it's not part of their responsibilities. For example, an accountant only needs the right to pay for subscription.

Permissions You Can Configure

Administrator — all permissions except deleting the project and assigning administrators.

Pay for subscription — change pricing plans and pay for channel subscriptions.

Connect channels — add channels to the project.

Create, edit, and delete posts — basic posting permissions.

Configure posting — manage settings, folders, schedules, and other parameters that affect all project editors.

Bulk operations — edit or delete multiple posts at once, bulk replace auto-signature or links.

Manage editors — add users and change their permissions (cannot grant more rights than you have yourself).

How to Configure Team Member Permissions

1. After adding a new team member, click "Return to Editors List."
2. Go to the editor's profile.
3. Set the required permissions.

Sections: How to Work Safely with a Team

When you have multiple channels and a team of editors, a problem arises: how do you grant access to employees while maintaining control over all channels?

Usually, channel owners add editors directly to the Telegram admin panel. But this is risky — if one of the admins violates the rules, all channels they were connected to may face blocking.

Sections solve this problem. You grant rights through a bot without adding people to the channel's admin panel. If one of the editors gets banned, it won't affect the channel.

What an Editor Sees

When you add an editor to a section, a new project appears in their "My Projects" menu—but with limited access. They only see the channels you've allowed them to access.

Example: You have 10 channels, but an editor only needs access to two. You create a section, add those 2 channels and the editor. Now they work only with those and don't see the other 8.

Flexible Permission Settings

Within each section, you assign individual permissions to each member.

By default, a new editor receives the following rights:

1. Working with posts—creating, editing, and deleting them.
2. Managing default settings, templates, and schedules.

If you need to change permissions, open the user's profile and select the necessary privileges.

How Sections Work

Think of a section as a separate mini-project within your main project. Each section has:
- Its own channels (part of the overall list)
- Its own editors with configured permissions
- Its own folders and templates
- Its own default settings

What's Shared Between the Project and Its Sections

The project and all its sections use the same channel settings:

✔️ Content plan
✔️ Schedule slots
✔️ Watermarks and auto-signature
✔️ Favorite buttons
✔️ Prompts for AI assistant

Example: if an editor in a section changes the post schedule, the new slots will appear in the main project and in other sections where this channel exists.

Advantages of Sections

Security — permissions are assigned independently of rights in the channel itself; a user ban won't lead to channel blocking
Convenience — everyone works only with the channels they need
Control — you configure each employee's rights according to your tasks
Flexibility — one channel can be in multiple sections, one editor can work with multiple sections

Sections help transform the chaos of multiple channels and editors into an organized system where everyone knows their tasks and doesn't interfere with others.

Practical Example

Task: You have a network of 5 regional channels. Each region has its own editor, plus you occasionally need to publish general advertisements across all channels.

Solution:

1. Create 5 sections — one for each region.
2. Add the corresponding channel and editor to each section.
3. Editors work only with their channels.
4. As the owner, you see all channels and can publish advertisements across the entire network.
