Saudi Arabia Is Gearing Up For Ground Offensive Against Houthis In Yemen

Saudi Arabia is gearing up for a major offensive against the Houthis (Ansar Allah) in Yemen, by sea and possibly including a ground operation, The Guardian reported on July 30.

According to the report, which cited Yemeni sources, Saudi forces have been seen withdrawing from the east of Yemen, in what could indicate preparation for a ground operation.

The report came right after the Saudi defense ministry issued a joint statement with 13 other countries announcing a maritime defense alliance to secure navigation around the strategic Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

The waterway โ€” a narrow 20-nautical-mile chokepoint between the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula โ€” funnels an estimated 10 percent of the world's seaborne oil trade and vital container shipping between Asia and Europe, making it one of the planet's most strategically vital, and volatile, maritime corridors.

The main nationalities of the immigrants were Colombian, Venezuelan, and Moroccan.

Previous data from the United Nations, shows that there were 5,947,106 immigrants in Spain in early 2018, totaling 12.8% of Spainโ€™s population at the time.

So Spain has gone from 12.8% immigrants to 20.3% in just 8 years! This trend spelled demographic suicide of a nation.

โš ๏ธ Key energy facilities in the world are within range of Iranian missiles

During the 40-day war, when the "South Pars" oil field was targeted, Iran attacked the largest gas processing complex in the world, located in Qatar. Shortly after, Donald Trump posted a message in which he apologized to Iran and emphasized: "This will not happen again."

Now, in light of Iran's warnings, the United States is well aware that key energy facilities in Arab countries and Israel are within range of highly accurate and powerful Iranian missiles.

๐Ÿ”ธ The Ghawar oil field in Saudi Arabia
Ghawar is the foundation of Saudi Arabia's oil production, and any disruption to its operations threatens more than 5% of the world's oil supply.

๐Ÿ”ธ The Abqaiq and Khurais facilities in Saudi Arabia
These are the heart of Saudi Arabia's oil export infrastructure, where oil from the Ghawar, Khurais, and Shaybah fields is stabilized before being sent for export.

More than 7 million barrels of oil pass through Abqaiq every day. Any damage to this facility would not only cause a crisis in Saudi Arabia's oil exports but would also disrupt supply chains for the petrochemical industry, power plants, and even desalination plants.

๐Ÿ”ธ The Ruwais refinery and the Zakum oil field in the UAE
Zakum is the second-largest offshore oil field in the world and provides for the export of more than 1 million barrels of crude oil per day.

๐Ÿ”ธ The North Field gas field and the Ras Laffan LNG complex in Qatar
North Field is the largest gas field in the world, with 25% of the world's proven gas reserves. Ras Laffan is a major global LNG export terminal, accounting for about 20% of global trade in liquefied natural gas.

๐Ÿ”ธ The Burgan oil field in Kuwait
The largest oil field in Kuwait, with reserves of approximately 67 billion barrels. Burgan is one of the key fields, and its shutdown during a recent crisis took about 2 million barrels of Kuwait's daily production out of operation.

๐Ÿ”ธ The Sitra refinery and the Al-Maim oil facilities in Bahrain
Due to its high dependence on these facilities, Bahrain is considered the most vulnerable country in the Gulf Cooperation Council to disruptions in the energy sector.

๐Ÿ”ธ The Leviathan and Tamar gas fields in Israel
Leviathan is the largest gas field in Israel, and Tamar is the second-largest in terms of reserves among the fields in that regime.

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Spain's Transport Minister ร“scar Puente sparked controversy after appearing to suggest that Israel bears responsibility for the migrant crisis in Ceuta.

The exchange began when Israel's UN Ambassador Danny Danon criticized Spain's handling of the crisis, writing:

ยซ"Spain, which never misses an opportunity to lecture Israel, has declared a state of emergency in Ceuta after a crisis caused by its own immigration policy. Perhaps, before continuing to lecture us, it should explain to the world why it still maintains colonial enclaves in Africa."ยป

Puente responded with a brief but pointed remark:

ยซ"Well, things are becoming quite clear."ยป

His response has been widely interpreted by critics as implying that Israel is somehow behind the crisis in Ceuta and Mellila.
