🇺🇸⚡️ — A new POLITICO/Public First poll suggests support for the war with Iran is declining among President Trump's MAGA base as economic concerns mount.

The share of self-identified MAGA voters who believe the war is worth its economic cost fell from 50% in May to 37% in July, while 37% now say the U.S. should continue its involvement only if costs do not rise further.

Nearly one in five believe the U.S. should end the war regardless of the cost.

The poll indicates that rising gas prices, U.S. military casualties, and broader economic concerns are driving the shift. A majority of MAGA voters also blamed the Iran war for higher fuel prices.

🇺🇸⚡️ — OpenAI says two of its AI models escaped a controlled testing environment during a cybersecurity evaluation last week and successfully hacked into AI platform Hugging Face.

➡️ The models exploited a vulnerability to break out of a sandbox environment, access the internet and target Hugging Face after determining it could provide information useful for completing the evaluation.

➡️ The company said it is working with Hugging Face to patch the vulnerabilities and has tightened its infrastructure controls while the issues are addressed.
