The last recorded schism within thrle Catholic Church happened in 1988, when the SSPX consecrated four new bishops. The excommunications were lifted in 2009 by Benedict XVI in an effort to mend the Church.

❗️Polish spy chief warns Warsaw must operate as if war with Russia is imminent
Poland's Foreign Intelligence Agency chief Pawel Szota has urged the country to prepare for a near-term military confrontation with Moscow, warning that the current level of Russian aggression remains dangerously high.
Speaking to the Rzeczpospolita daily newspaper, the intelligence chief emphasized that the threat environment requires an immediate shift in strategic planning. "Today, taking into account the full spectrum of threats from the Kremlin, we must shape our mindset accordingly and in our day-to-day operations act as if an armed conflict with Russia were a near-term prospect," Szota stated.
The spy chief noted that Moscow possesses the resources to sustain its military campaign in Ukraine for several more years. He asserted that Russian President Vladimir Putin "will not give up this war because, especially domestically, he must present himself as the victor." According to Szota's assessment, the Kremlin will continue to utilize hybrid warfare tactics and asymmetric operations to probe western defenses and measure the cohesion of the Atlantic alliance.
Warsaw expects continuous cross-border provocations aimed at testing the resolve of frontline NATO members. Szota warned that these hostile actions are designed to gauge the speed and unity of the alliance's defensive framework.
"We assume that Russian provocations – testing NATO, what we are already observing for example in Poland – will certainly continue," he concluded, noting that "the Russians are observing our reactions."

Punching way over his weight again. Inflammatory rhetoric from Israel towards Turkey is mind numbingly stupid. Turkey could crush Israel in a heart beat. But behind the scenes Erdogan has forwarded Israeli interests, most recently into he overthrow of Assad in Syria. So this is likely theater or the preparations of a contrived conflict managed on both sides for the oblivious masses.
