- The main problem is related to a shortage of urea, the most common nitrogen fertilizer in the world, writes the Financial Times.
- According to the analytical company Kpler, out of 2.1 million tons of urea, almost half did not reach the global market: more than 1.1 million tons of fertilizers are now accumulating in the Persian Gulf amid the escalation of the conflict.
- Additional pressure is exerted by rising prices for natural gas, which is used in the production of nitrogen fertilizers from ammonia. Due to the rising cost of gas, some factories in Asia have already been forced to suspend production.
- The Middle East plays a key role in the global trade of fertilizers and energy resources: about a third of the global export of urea passes through the Strait of Hormuz.
- Against the backdrop of blocked shipping, the price of urea has risen by more than 40% since the beginning of the conflict.
- It was also previously noted that about 26% of the global trade in nitrogen fertilizers passes through the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran’s ambassador to India said that Iran allowed some Indian vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz amid ongoing regional war. Two Indian-flagged LPG carriers, Shivalik and Nanda Devi, carrying about 92,712 metric tons of LPG, successfully crossed the strait on Saturday.
The move came after a call between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Iran largely closed the strait since early March following joint US-Israeli attacks on Iran, which triggered escalating retaliation across the region.

Israeli Settlements Minister Orit Strock published an invitation to attend the funeral of her daughter, who reportedly died by suicide after previously accusing her father of sexual abuse and rape.
The school in Minab the US bombed that killed 170 girls at the opening of the war was a private school where the ICRG officers sent their daughters. This barbaric crime is Israeli Gaza like behavior unfitting of a civilized country. It shows US military is fully controlled by the suicidal state of Israel.
