Iraqi TV analysts discuss the redrawing of the Gulf map if the war continues.

"Bahrain, it belonged to Iran, it goes to Iran. Kuwait goes to Iraq. The Emirates return to Oman, return to its origins. Saudi Arabia might take Qatar as well."

"Kuwait is not a state. Neither is Qatar a state."

If Bahrain's 27km bridge to Saudi Arabia is hit, the Gulf Shield can't reach them. Iranian missile boats are 200km away. Bahrain has a Shia majority with grievances against the regime. "What remains of the state?"

On the UAE: "Ten million foreigners and 750,000 Emiratis." They pay expats $50 each to fill football stadiums "because they have no people."
Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, owns multiple luxury properties in London, including a mansion and 12 homes on Bishops Avenue, often dubbed “Billionaires’ Row,” purchased in 2013 with a £36 million loan from an investment company owned by British-Israeli brothers Sol and Eddie Zakai. The properties are held through a shell company registered in the Isle of Man, a tax haven, and are not officially listed under Khamenei’s name.

The £36 million loan was provided by TOPLAND, a British investment group founded by the Israeli brothers, and was granted at a time when no sanctions were in place against those involved.
Khamenei also owns two luxury apartments in Kensington, west London, overlooking the Israeli Embassy, located just 50 meters away—raising security concerns about potential surveillance.
The London properties, valued at over £100 million ($138 million), are part of a global network of assets linked to Khamenei, including hotels in Germany and Spain, a villa in Dubai, and properties in Paris—all managed through intermediaries like Ali Ansari, a sanctioned Iranian businessman.
British authorities have restricted the sale of all 13 London properties since October 2025, citing national security and financial integrity concerns.

🌍 Middle East War Threatens African Agriculture as Fertiliser Prices Surge

The ongoing conflict in the Middle East and the disruption to shipping through the Strait of Hormuz are driving up fertiliser prices across Africa, with Oxford Economics Africa estimating an average global fertiliser price rise of nearly 17% in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period last year. Sudan, Tanzania, Somalia, Kenya and Mozambique are identified as among the most exposed countries, given their dependence on Gulf fertiliser imports. Fertiliser futures rose more than 10% on the first day of trading after the war broke out on 28 February.

The African Union chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf has expressed deep concern over the disruption to supply chains, while analysts warn that reduced fertiliser use among smallholder farmers could weaken crop yields and push food prices higher over time.

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇮🇷Trump rejected Putin's proposal to export Iranian uranium to Russia as part of an agreement to end the war in the Middle East, according to Axios.

Sources told the publication that Putin proposed transferring about 450 kg of enriched uranium with a concentration of 60% to Russia.

The uranium reserves are sufficient to produce more than 10 nuclear bombs with further enrichment.

Trump's decision means that the likelihood of a compromise is decreasing, and therefore the war is dragging on.
