A significant and rapid increase in US military positioning around Iran has been observed over the past two days. Here is a detailed breakdown of the key developments.
US forces in the region are undergoing rapid repositioning. This movement is assessed to shorten the timeline for potential offensive action, should orders be given.
Approximately 112 US C-17 Globemaster III heavy transport aircraft are confirmed to be either in the Middle East or currently inbound. An additional 17-18 aircraft are still en route. This scale of strategic airlift far exceeds routine logistical support and indicates a major surge in capability.
The USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is now operating in the Arabian Sea, within striking distance of Iran. Concurrently, critical support assets—including aerial refuelling tankers, command-and-control aircraft, and long-range strike platforms—are being actively staged across the broader region and the Indian Ocean.
A US WC-135 Constant Phoenix "nuclear sniffer" aircraft, designed to detect radioactive particles, was tracked conducting a mission over the Mediterranean. In a related and highly notable move, envoys from the Trump administration visited the USS Abraham Lincoln alongside the commander of US Central Command (CENTCOM), General Kenneth McKenzie.

✈️ 🇨🇺 🛢 Cuba warns airlines that it will run out of fuel for planes within 24 hours
The energy crisis in Cuba has reached a critical level that is now directly affecting civil aviation. An official aeronautical notice (NOTAM) from José Martí International Airport in Havana confirms that the terminal is out of Jet A-1 fuel, which is standardly used by commercial aircraft.
The lack of aviation fuel is a direct consequence of the deterioration of Cuba's energy system, exacerbated by the disruption of external supplies and the regime's inability to ensure stable imports. For years, Cuba relied on oil from Venezuela for much of its energy consumption, a supply that has been interrupted following Nicolás Maduro's decline.

🇺🇸🛢 In the "Epstein files", an extremely uncomfortable detail was discovered: on December 6, 2018, exactly the day when the FBI officially launched an investigation into child trafficking, the banker ordered a substantial batch of sulfuric acid to his Little St. James island.
We're talking about six 55-gallon barrels — almost 1,250 liters of caustic substance. The payment documents show an amount of around $5,000, which covered not only the goods but also fuel and insurance for transportation to the private island.
Officially, such a purchase could be explained by water desalination system maintenance or pool cleaning, but the timing looks alarming. On the same day investigators began unraveling the case of sexual exploitation, Epstein suddenly became concerned with delivering a huge amount of chemicals most often used in criminal practice for destroying evidence and biological traces.
Interestingly, these details only surfaced now, in early 2026, after the publication of millions of pages of U.S. Department of Justice archive documents. Despite Trump ordering the maximum acceleration of these file disclosures after his inauguration, many questions remain unanswered. For example, did FBI agents check the acid supplies during island searches and what ultimately happened to these 330 gallons.

🇺🇸🤝🇸🇦🔻 Saudi Arabia Officialy Deploys First THAAD System - But to serve who?
—
Saudi Arabia has officially activated the US-made THAAD missile defense system part of a $15 billion deal signed under Trump.
The deal includes 7 batteries, 44 launchers, 360 interceptors, and advanced radars.
While millions in the region suffer, Riyadh invests in defence—not for defending the people, but possibly to assist the US-Israel axis in a future war against #Iran or Yemen.
Is this really about Saudi defense… or serving someone else’s agenda?

🇮🇷⚡🇮🇱 | Israeli Newspaper, regarding impact of Iraninan missiles:
🔻 The shortage of Arrow missiles poses an increasing threat to the home front, as the fall of an iranian missile in a populated area could cause economic damage estimated at no less than 300 million shekels, according to Ministry of Defense estimates.
The mayor of Bat Yam stated that a missile falling in his city left "the largest destruction site in Israel since its establishment," noting that the explosion destroyed approximately 160 dunams and damaged about 120 buildings, including 20 buildings that were completely destroyed, killing nine people. He added: "And all this from just one missile."
🔸 The cost of producing the most advanced generation Arrow missile is 12 million shekels, which is a huge amount, but the problem is not the price. What matters is filling the stockpile, because you do not press a button to get an interceptor missile.
🔸 At the heart of the current dispute lie interceptor missiles, particularly "Arrow 3 and 4." These missiles are an extremely important means of countering missile attacks. International media reported concerns about a shortage of them, after the Iranians posed a major challenge to the Israeli defense system. According to security sources, all relevant parties in the Ministry of Finance have been informed of this, but the required budget has not yet been transferred.
