Proverbs 22:6(KJV): Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

FAMILY SERIES: SPEAKING TO THE HEART OF YOUR CHILD

Godly parenting is more than enforcing rules or correcting behavior; it is about discipling a child by speaking to their heart. Many parents focus on outward actions, yet true transformation happens when the heart is reached. If you do not learn to speak to the heart, you will find yourself merely barking commands. But when you engage the heart, you shape a child’s life in a way that endures beyond your presence.

The heart is more receptive than the mind because that is where eternity is (Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV). Proverbs 4:23 says, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” This means that everything a child becomes flows from the condition of their heart. As a parent, your role is to plant the right seeds there.

But how do you speak to the heart? You must understand that your child has a spiritual part to them, he or she has a soul. If you only address the mind, you shape their intellect. If you only address behavior, you mould their actions. But when you minister to their heart, you reach their essence. When this happens, your words will remain with them even when you are not there.

Some children know how to act right before their parents but live differently when they are away. This happens when discipline is only external. But when you minister to the heart, your voice will be with them always. They will carry your wisdom in their hearts, and the fear of the Lord will guide them long after they leave your presence.

To do this, pray with them, speak the Word over them, and model a life of faith. Do not just correct—disciple. Do not just instruct—impart. If you raise them this way, when they are old, they will not depart from it.

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 4:23; Proverbs 6:20-22

GOLDEN NUGGET: Everything a child becomes flows from the condition of their heart. As a parent, your role is to plant the right seeds there.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this wisdom. You teach me to speak to the hearts of my children. I do not just correct their actions but discipline their spirits in truth. My words carry life, guiding them even when I am not there. I model Your love and as I do, they know You deeply and walk in Your ways forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Titus 1:15(KJV): Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

OF THE WORD AND THE STATE OF THE HEART

The condition of a man’s heart determines how he perceives truth. To the pure, all things are pure. But to the defiled, even what is pure can seem corrupt.

This is why two people can hear the same Word, yet one is edified while the other is offended. The issue is not the message but the state of the heart receiving it. Jesus encountered this repeatedly. When He taught, some received life, while others took offense. The Pharisees constantly misinterpreted His words because their hearts were veiled by self-righteousness and unbelief.

When Paul preached the gospel of grace, some misunderstood him. They accused him of encouraging men to sin so that grace may abound (Romans 3:8, Romans 6:1). Yet, Paul was not preaching lawlessness; he was unveiling the righteousness that comes by faith. The problem was not in his message but in how some received it—with a defiled mindset that could not comprehend the purity of grace.

When your heart is pure, you will see God rightly (Matthew 5:8). You will receive His Word with clarity, untainted by personal biases or offense.

Examine your heart. Are you filtering truth through past hurts, religious mindsets, or personal opinions? Instead of attacking the message or ministers of God, ask the Lord to deal with your heart so that you may receive His Word as He intends. The pure in heart discern rightly, grow in truth, and walk in the fullness of revelation. Glory to God!

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this truth. You remove every veil off my heart that I may receive Your Word without distortion. My perception is shaped by truth and not by personal biases or past experiences. Today, You deal with my mind and conscience in ways that only You can. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Proverbs 5:23(MSG); Death is the reward of an undisciplined life; your foolish decisions trap you in a dead end.

KINGDOM FINANCE PRINCIPLES: THE COST OF INDISCIPLINE

Some people wonder why everything they touch seems to fail. Businesses collapse, relationships break, and opportunities slip through their fingers. They blame circumstances, bad luck, or even spiritual attacks, but often, the root cause is a lack of discipline.

Discipline is the bridge between dreams and success. When you refuse to follow principles of diligence, integrity, and consistency, you set yourself on a path of slow decay.

A lack of discipline in financial management leads to debt. A lack of discipline in health choices leads to sickness. A lack of discipline in spiritual growth leads to stagnation.

The Bible warns that an undisciplined life leads to death—not always physical death, but the death of potential, opportunities, relationships, and prosperity.

If you find that things around you keep dying, ask yourself: Am I committed to excellence, or do I settle for mediocrity? Do I follow through on plans and tasks, or do I give up too soon? Am I consistent in prayer and studying God’s Word, or do I allow distractions to take over?

Inconsistency and carelessness create dead ends. But God has called us to a life of wisdom and order. He is a God of principles, and when we align ourselves with His ways, we walk in life, not death. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 10:17 (MSG); Hebrews 12:11 (NIV)

GOLDEN NUGGET: Discipline is the bridge between dreams and success. When you refuse to follow principles of diligence, integrity, and consistency, you set yourself on a path of slow decay.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for the wisdom in Your Word. I recognize that discipline is a key to growth, and I receive the grace to be diligent in all I do. Forgive me for any areas where I have been careless and inconsistent. Help me to make wise decisions, stay committed to tasks, and follow Your principles faithfully. In this understanding, everything I touch bears fruit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Daniel 2:46-48 (KJV): Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him. The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.

THE GLORY OF DIVINE MYSTERIES

In Daniel 2, King Nebuchadnezzar had a troubling dream, yet none of his wise men, magicians, or astrologers could reveal or interpret it. However, Daniel, a man of God, not only revealed the dream but also interpreted it with precision.

As a result, Daniel was elevated in status, given great gifts, and made ruler over the entire province of Babylon. His ability to access divine mysteries made him stand out in an empire filled with scholars, advisors, and philosophers.

It is important to note that revealing mysteries applies to various areas of life. Those who understand and unveil deep revelations in the Word of God become global voices in ministry, shaping nations with divine wisdom.

Entrepreneurs who discern divine strategies and innovative ideas lead in the marketplace. In politics, leaders who perceive times and seasons, who receive godly strategies for governance become great and influential. Scientists, inventors, and scholars who tap into these realms break barriers and bring forth new knowledge that transforms societies.

Our theme scripture reveals that the great Nebuchadnezzar bowed to Daniel. The king made him a great man.

The unveiling of divine mysteries brings promotion, honor, and dominion. It distinguishes a person, making them a force of change in their generation. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 25:2; Jeremiah 33:3

GOLDEN NUGGET: The unveiling of divine mysteries brings promotion, honor, and dominion. It distinguishes a person, making them a force of change in their generation.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, You are the revealer of secrets and the source of all wisdom. Thank You for granting me divine insight into the mysteries that elevate me in my purpose, career, and ministry. I access hidden knowledge that makes me a solution provider in my generation. I walk in glory, honor, and influence as Daniel did, for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Mark 6:4-6 (KJV): But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

OF FAMILIARITY AND UNBELIEF

Unbelief can stem from various sources, but today, I want to highlight one in particular: familiarity.

Our theme scripture reveals that our Lord could not heal many people in his hometown because of their unbelief.

But why did they not believe?

The people of Nazareth had grown up with Jesus. They had seen Him as a child, a neighbor, and a carpenter. This natural knowledge of Him blinded them to His divine nature.

Even today, some people struggle to believe for the simple reason that they have either become too familiar with God and His Word or with the vessels He uses.

When you examine the lives of some Christians today, their unbelief does not stem from a lack of knowledge but access to so much knowledge, which knowledge is now received with indifference because it is too available and accessible.

I urge you, in these times when God has made His Word and revelation accessible to us in a deeper dimension than ever before, to guard your heart against spiritual indifference.

Approach God’s Word with fresh hunger and expectation every day. Receive it with faith and gratitude. Never allow yourself to outgrow revelation and the newness that God makes available to us daily. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 119:162; Hebrews 11:6

GOLDEN NUGGET: Approach God’s Word with fresh hunger and expectation every day. Receive it with faith and gratitude. Never allow yourself to outgrow revelation and the newness that God makes available to us daily.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I repent of any form of familiarity that has hindered my faith. You open my eyes to recognize areas where I have become indifferent to Your Word and Your power. I honor the anointing upon those You send and approach Your presence with reverence and expectation. You strengthen my faith in this knowledge, even as You launch me into deeper experiences. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

John 10:38(NKJV): But if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.

THE FOUNDATION OF OUR FAITH

Miracles are an essential part of the Christian faith. They demonstrate God’s power, confirm His presence, and often serve as a sign to those who doubt. Without miracles, some people would have already abandoned the faith.

However, Jesus established a divine order through our theme scripture. He set the revelation of Him before any miracle. Belief in Him came before any works.

This means that while miracles are important, they are secondary to knowing Jesus. The works were meant to point people to the deeper truth of who He is.

Today, some people have got this order wrong. For example, they may evaluate a man of God solely based on miracles. If a blind man sees or a lame man walks, they assume, "Surely, this is a man of God."

If one understands the order as set by the Lord, they would know that miracles should not be the primary test of whether one is a true minister of God or not. A man or woman of God is known by his revelation of Christ. Paul, though a vessel of mighty miracles, declared, "For I am determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified" (1 Corinthians 2:2).

A person whose faith is built only on miracles is at risk of falling away when challenges arise. But the one who is established in the knowledge of Christ remains firm no matter what.

FURTHER STUDY: Mark 16:20; Matthew 7:22-23

GOLDEN NUGGET: A person whose faith is built only on miracles is at risk of falling away when challenges arise. But the one who is established in the knowledge of Christ remains firm no matter what

PRAYER: Father, thank You for the miracles that confirm Your presence and power in my life. But even more, thank You for Your Word, which is the foundation of my faith. Help me to know You deeply, beyond signs and wonders. I choose to seek after truth and grow in the revelation of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.

John 1:4(NKJV): In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

UNDERSTAND THE GOD-LIFE

Often, believers confess that they have the life of God in them. But what does it mean? Do you grasp the magnitude of what it means to have the life of God?

The life of God is the most powerful force in existence. This life—divine, creative, and limitless—brought the universe into being.

This life is not just a concept. By that life, when God spoke in Genesis 1, “Let there be,” creation obeyed. The stars, the oceans, the mountains, and even the human body were formed by this life. That same life is in you!

This means that if anything in you or around you is dying—whether it's your health, finances, dreams, or relationships—you have the power to recreate it.

You are not powerless in the face of sickness, lack, or brokenness. If your kidneys are failing, the life of God can recreate them. If your body is weak, the life of God can renew it. If any part of your life is barren, this divine life can restore and multiply.

So, why do some still struggle? Because they have not fully recognized what they carry. Many see themselves as ordinary, unaware that they are vessels of divine life. But once you grasp this reality, you will never be the same. You will understand that you don’t have to accept sickness, failure, or barrenness—you can change it! Just as God created by speaking, you must release His life through your words. Speak life to your body. Speak life to your circumstances. Recreate whatever is broken! Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 8:11, John 10:10

GOLDEN NUGGET: You are not powerless in the face of sickness, lack, or brokenness. If your body is weak, the life of God can renew it. If any part of your life is barren, this divine life can restore and multiply.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for Your creative life at work in me. I refuse to accept anything that is dying or broken in my life. By the power of Your life in me, I declare restoration, healing, and renewal in every area. I activate this truth and walk in divine dominion, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV): Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

FAMILY SERIES: MINISTERING GRACE TO YOUR CHILDREN

Parenting is a sacred responsibility, one that extends beyond teaching rules and enforcing discipline. It is also about modeling the heart of God, a heart full of grace, love, and mercy. To train a child in the way he should go is not merely about correction.

Children are learning not only from our words but from our actions. They watch how we respond to their mistakes, how we react to their tears, and whether we show them grace after discipline. If we only discipline but fail to restore, we risk hardening their hearts rather than shaping them in love.

When a child messes up and has been disciplined, do not leave them to cry endlessly in isolation. Their young minds are still forming connections between emotions and responses. A child who is ignored in distress learns not to express their emotions, making them emotionally distant over time. A child who is consistently met with indifference when seeking comfort after discipline may one day stop seeking it altogether. The danger is not just in their childhood years, but in their future relationships—with family, with others, and ultimately with God.

Our heavenly Father disciplines us in love but never withdraws His grace. He corrects, then embraces. He chastens, then restores. As parents and caregivers, we are called to mirror that divine love. When your child comes back after a moment of discipline, welcome them. Hold them. Reassure them. Let them know that love remains, unwavering and unshaken.

When we discipline, let it be in love. When we correct, let it be with restoration. And when they come back to us, let them find arms open wide—just as our Father does for us.

FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 3:21; Psalm 103:13

GOLDEN NUGGET: Our heavenly Father disciplines us in love but never withdraws His grace. He corrects, then embraces. He chastens, then restores. As parents and caregivers, we are called to mirror that divine love.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for entrusting me with the opportunity of raising children. Thank You for teaching me to train them in Your ways—not only through discipline but through grace and love. Help me to be patient, compassionate, and always willing to restore. May my actions continuously reflect Your heart so that my children grow to know and trust You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Proverbs 4:20-22 (NKJV): My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.

THE LIFE IN THE WORD

Many believers know the Word of God, but not all experience the life that is in it. The Bible is not just a book of history, principles, or moral teachings—it carries the very life of God. And it is that life that brings transformation and results.

Jesus said in John 6:63, “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” The Word is not just information; it is a living, powerful force. When you engage with the Word, you are not just reading—you are receiving life itself.

But how do you connect to this life? It is not enough to simply hear or memorize Scripture. Our theme scripture says these words are life to those who find them—and the Hebrew word for "find" here is matsa, which means to encounter. This means there is a deeper level of interaction with the Word that goes beyond reading—it is a personal revelation, an experience with the living God through His Word.

Many read the Word casually, but few seek to connect to the life in it.

The greatest way to connect to the life in the Word is firstly to study Jesus. He was the Word made flesh so that through His example, we may understand what it means to live life in its fullness. Examine His divine consciousness and attitude towards life. As you do this, the life in the Word will begin to manifest—bringing healing, wisdom, strength, and breakthrough.
