Matthew 13:52 (KJV): Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

THE SCRIBE

We do not become scribes simply because we know how to write physically; we become scribes because we know how to write in the Spirit. A true scribe in the kingdom of God is one who can inscribe truth upon the hearts of men, beyond mere words.

The Bible says, "But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God." (2 Corinthians 4:2 KJV). This means our communication is not just intellectual but spiritual—it penetrates the depths of a person’s being and leaves an imprint of divine truth that speaks long after our words have been spoken.

If we are to be effective in the life of the gospel, we must write—not just on paper but on hearts. The apostle Paul described believers as epistles written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God (2 Corinthians 3:3 KJV).

Many people spend their energy engaging in battles of words—arguing with their spouses, contending with their bosses, or defending themselves in unnecessary debates. Instead of writing spiritually, they are caught up in verbal conflicts that yield no fruit.

The solution is to learn how to write spiritually. When you know how to inscribe truth in the Spirit, you can influence hearts without uttering a single word. Your presence alone ministers peace, and your words carry divine weight that transforms those who hear them. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 3:3; 2 Corinthians 4:2

GOLDEN NUGGET: We do not become scribes simply because we know how to write physically; we become scribes because we know how to write in the Spirit. A true scribe in the kingdom of God is one who can inscribe truth upon the hearts of men, beyond mere words.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank You for this word. You have flooded my heart with divine insight and out of it flows treasures of divine wisdom, both new and old. I communicate beyond words, my speech carries the life and power of the Spirit. As I inscribe Your truth upon the hearts of men, I leave an eternal impact. In Jesus' name, Amen.

John 8:32 (KJV): And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

OF LIBERTY AND KNOWLEDGE

The spirit of liberty works together with the spirit of knowledge and revelation. True freedom is not simply a state of being without restrictions—it is a function of knowledge. We are only as free as we know.

The Bible declares, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..." (Hosea 4:6 KJV). Ignorance is a prison, and many believers remain bound, not because the power of God is insufficient, but because they have not received the revelation that brings liberty.

No man can operate beyond the level of truth he has received. If we do not know the reality of our authority in Christ, we will live as though we have none. If we do not understand the depths of God's love, we will struggle with condemnation and fear. If we do not grasp the principles of divine provision, we will live in unnecessary lack. The boundaries of our lives are drawn by the level of our knowledge.

This is why we must be intentional in seeking revelation. The Bible says, "The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple." (Psalm 119:130 KJV). When light comes, darkness has no choice but to flee. When revelation breaks forth, ignorance loses its grip, and we step into greater dimensions of freedom.

As Paul prayed for the Ephesian church, this prayer must form your consistent convictions: "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him." (Ephesians 1:17 KJV). This is the key to walking in all that God has made available to us. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 11:9; Isaiah 5:13

GOLDEN NUGGET: The spirit of liberty works together with the spirit of knowledge and revelation. True freedom is not simply a state of being without restrictions—it is a function of knowledge. We are only as free as we know, and we can only go as far as we know.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the freedom that comes through the knowledge of Your truth. You open my eyes to deeper revelation, and cause me to walk in the fullness of my liberty in Christ. Ignorance is not my portion. I grow in knowledge daily and increase in the wisdom that is from above. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Luke 2:52 (KJV): And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

THREE STAGES OF MINISTRY

Ministry is a journey that unfolds in three critical stages: preparation, active ministry, and inspiration and impartation. These phases are not to be rushed or ignored, for they are divinely ordained to shape, refine, and empower a minister for lasting impact. However, many today are eager to start before they are prepared, to send themselves before they are sent, and to operate without the necessary depth that comes from process.

1. Preparation: Preparation is the foundation of every great ministry. It is the season where God molds character and initially teaches the minister. Jesus, though the Son of God, spent thirty years in preparation before stepping into His three-year ministry. In our theme scripture, we see that "Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man." His preparation involved growing in wisdom. Paul, too, after his dramatic conversion spent years in Arabia (Galatians 1:15-18) being equipped for his apostolic calling. Many today are tempted to rush this process, but without preparation, the weight of ministry can crush rather than elevate.

2. Active Ministry: Once the season of preparation is complete, God launches a minister into active service. This is the phase where one engages in the assignment they have been prepared for. Jesus, after being baptized and tested in the wilderness, began His active ministry, preaching the Kingdom, healing the sick, casting out demons, and making disciples. Paul, after his time of preparation, was commissioned by the church at Antioch and sent out as an apostle (Acts 13:2-3). Active ministry is where obedience and faithfulness to the call are tested.

3. Inspiration and Impartation: A time comes when a minister must raise others—to inspire and impart what they have received. Jesus, after His active ministry, poured into His disciples, preparing them to continue His work. Paul also modeled this, raising Timothy, Titus, and others, imparting wisdom and spiritual gifts (2 Timothy 2:2). True success in ministry is not just in doing the work but in raising others who will continue the work after us.

Some ministers fail because they start what they have not been prepared for. Others remain stuck in active ministry without training the next generation. Each stage is necessary, and skipping one leads to an unbalanced and ineffective ministry.

FURTHER STUDY: Ecclesiastes 3:1; Acts 13:2-3

GOLDEN NUGGET: Ministry is a journey that unfolds in three critical stages: preparation, active ministry, and inspiration and impartation. These phases are not to be rushed or ignored, for they are divinely ordained to shape, refine, and empower a minister for lasting impact.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, help me to discern and embrace the stage of ministry I am in. Grant me patience in preparation, faithfulness in active ministry, and wisdom in impartation. May I never send myself before You send me, and may my ministry be built on the foundation of Your timing and process. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Genesis 4:4-8 (KJV): And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell... And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

FAMILY SERIES: SIBLING RIVALRY - CONQUERING THE SPIRIT OF ENVY AND JEALOUSY

The most toxic spirit between siblings is envy and jealousy. The first murder in human history was driven by it. Cain could not stand that his brother received favor from God, and instead of seeking to grow in his own walk with the Lord, he allowed bitterness to consume him. This same spirit still destroys families today. Left unchecked, it leads to hatred, division, and even death—not always physical, but the death of relationships, purpose, and unity.

As parents, it's crucial to address jealousy in a child promptly. Ignoring this emotion can allow resentment to take root, potentially leading to an individual who habitually compares themselves to others instead of finding contentment in their own blessings. Envy goes beyond simply desiring what someone else has; it often carries a demand for superiority over the perceived rival. This is why even individuals who possess many advantages can remain unfulfilled if they perceive someone else as being more successful or having a higher status.

The cure for envy and jealousy is a deep relationship with God. Parents must invest time in the jealous child, teaching them to seek God’s approval rather than man's. If left unhealed, jealousy will not only divide siblings but can also extend into adulthood, poisoning marriages, friendships, and even entire generations.

Do not assume jealousy will fade on its own—pray, correct, and lead the child to understand their worth in Christ. Cain's story is a warning: jealousy unaddressed invites destruction. But with wisdom, love, and godly guidance, we can raise children who celebrate each other's victories rather than resent them.

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 14:30; James 3:16

GOLDEN NUGGET: The cure for envy and jealousy is a deep relationship with God. Parents must invest time in the jealous child, teaching them to seek God’s approval rather than man's. If left unhealed, jealousy will not only divide siblings but can also extend into adulthood, poisoning marriages, friendships, and even entire generations.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I receive wisdom in raising my children. Help me discern and address any spirit of jealousy and envy before it takes root. Teach my family to seek Your favor above human validation and to walk in love, contentment, and gratitude. My household is one of peace and unity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV): To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

PRESENT WITH THE LORD - A LIFE OF GLORY

When we read the words "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord," we often immediately think of death, the end of our earthly journey. For many believers, it becomes a comforting thought, knowing that death is not the end but a transition to the eternal presence of God. However, this passage is not only a promise for those at the end of their lives but a truth that applies to our daily walk with Christ.

As believers, we are called to experience the death of our old selves in Christ. In Romans 6:6 (BSB), Paul writes, "We know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin."

Glory is not only available to those who have died and transitioned to eternity.

The truth is that you cannot taste the fullness of God's glory until you experience the death that comes with being crucified with Christ. It’s in the surrender, in letting go of control, in submitting our desires to His will, that we position ourselves to experience more of His presence.

When we lay down our lives, we experience His presence in deeper ways. It’s in this spiritual death that we encounter the resurrection power of God in more profound ways. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Philippians 3:10; Galatians 2:20

GOLDEN NUGGET: You cannot taste the fullness of God's glory until you experience the death that comes with being crucified with Christ. It’s in the surrender, in letting go of control, in submitting our desires to His will, that we position ourselves to experience more of His presence.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for the beautiful assurance that to be absent from the body is to be present with You. I live in that truth today as a daily testimony. You teach and cause me to die daily to my flesh, so that I may experience Your glory in all its fullness. I surrender my desires, my will, and my plans to You. Your Spirit fills me, transforms me, and leads me into deeper fellowship with You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Deuteronomy 8:18 (KJV): But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

KINGDOM FINANCE PRINCIPLES: THE COMPLETE CYCLE OF WEALTH

Economies are the result of human ideas. Wherever there are societies, economic systems will evolve as people work to meet their needs and desires. But God’s design is far beyond human-made systems. While economies are created by human ingenuity, God’s idea is wealth—true wealth that encompasses far more than just financial gain.

In Deuteronomy 8:18, we are reminded that God gives us the power to get wealth, not just in material terms, but in a way that reflects His entire nature.

The word for wealth in this scripture is chayil which goes beyond money. It speaks of riches, might, ability, efficiency, strength, and virtue. All of these elements are necessary for the wealth that God has ordained for us. If any of these components are missing, the wealth we possess is incomplete according to God's definition.

True wealth is not just about having riches—it is about having strength that aligns with God’s power, efficiency that aligns with His divine plan, and virtue that reflects His goodness.

We cannot claim to have the power to make wealth if the riches we acquire carry no virtue, if the might we exercise lacks efficiency, or if the abilities we manifest do not reflect the glory of God. God’s wealth is a holistic, complete cycle—a life that integrates these attributes and bears witness to His glory.

1 Peter 1:7 (KJV): That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

THE TRIAL OF YOUR FAITH — A WORK OF GRACE

As believers, we often find ourselves in moments of trial, and may become discouraged. We wonder why God allows certain difficulties to come our way, and we may even question if we're being punished. However, it’s essential to understand that trials are not necessarily a sign of God's displeasure.

Trials are a part of the process of consecration. Just as gold is purified through the fire, our faith is refined through the tests we encounter. The fire does not consume gold; it makes it purer. Similarly, the trials we endure must not destroy our faith; they should purify and strengthen it.

When God tests you, He never sets you up to fail. He is not ā€˜checking’ to see your response. He is not surprised by how you handle them.

Most importantly, without trials, we would never fully recognize our dependence on God, nor would we grow in our ability to trust Him with every aspect of our lives. It is in the fire of trials that our faith is proven genuine.

Consider this: God never wastes a trial. Every test you face is for your spiritual maturity, an opportunity to deepen your faith and draw closer to Him. While it may seem hard to understand in the moment, each trial is a work of grace, intended to refine you and prepare you for the greater works God has for you. Hallelujah!

I surrender any fears, doubts, and anxieties into Your hands, trusting that You are working in me to mature me. I have the strength and patience to endure, and recognize Your grace in every trial I face. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hebrews 7:16 (KJV): Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

THE POWER OF AN ENDLESS LIFE

The power of an endless life speaks of an eternal impact—one that time, circumstances, and generations cannot erase. As believers in Christ, our lives are not subject to the fading memory of man but are anchored in the eternal remembrance of God.

When we look at the story of Joseph, we find a sobering contrast. Though Joseph rose to a place of prominence in Egypt, a time came when "there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph" (Exodus 1:8 KJV). His legacy, despite all his accomplishments, faded with time in that land. His influence, though significant, was ultimately forgotten by the men of Egypt.

But this is not so for those who walk in the power of an endless life through Christ Jesus. Because of the power of an endless life in Christ, none shall arise who does not know who you are in Him.

The scripture speaks of Job whose end was the Lord. His life foreshadowed how we are to live today. Though Job’s trials were immense, James in his writing emphasizes not his suffering but "the end of the Lord" (James 5:11 KJV). One man’s story ended as God’s story. This is your testimony.

When you live by the power of an endless life, your influence is not confined to a generation or a season. The memory of who you are transcends time, and your life remains a testament to God's enduring grace and power. No Pharaoh will rise who does not know the God you serve, and no season will come that diminishes your legacy in Christ. Hallelujah!

Colossians 3:2 (KJV): Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

BUILDING DIVINE CONSCIOUSNESS

Divine consciousness is a state of the mind and heart where God’s realities become more tangible to you than earthly circumstances. It is the continuous awareness of heaven’s perspective, guiding your thoughts, desires, and actions.

Jesus is the perfect example of one who was alive to spiritual realities. This consciousness was in how He responded to the devil in the wilderness temptation (Luke 4:1-13), the ease with which He healed the sick and how He responded to a fig tree when He was hungry (Mark 11:12-25).

How does one build this divine consciousness?

Meditation: You must create a consistent life of seeing yourself participate in the purposes of God according to what has been revealed to you by the word. Godly meditation aligns your thoughts with heaven, and builds a divine consciousness that shapes your reality.

Confession: What you meditate on must find expression through your words. ā€œDeath and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.ā€ (Proverbs 18:21 KJV). Speak life, healing, and breakthrough. Confess the Word of God over your life daily.

Prayer: Learn to pray as one who beholds the finished work of Christ.

When you build divine consciousness, your life transcends natural limitations. You begin to live from a higher plane, where your faith dictates your reality.

FURTHER STUDY: Joshua 1:8; Isaiah 26:3

GOLDEN NUGGET: When you build divine consciousness, your life transcends natural limitations. You begin to live from a higher plane, where your faith dictates your reality.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. I know who I am in You and what Your Word has said. I live with the reality of Your truth as my daily guide. I am unmoved by what I see, hear or feel because my real life is hidden in Christ and Christ in God. In Jesus' name, Amen.

1 Samuel 18:7-9 (KJV): And the women answered one another as they played, and said, ā€˜Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.’ And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him... And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.

DEALING WITH OTHER PEOPLE’S ELEVATION

One of the greatest tests of character is how we respond when we see someone else being elevated. Do we celebrate or resist? Do we honor or attack? In life, when one person is being raised, another may be transitioning to a different season. If we are not careful, our insecurity may turn us into enemies of God's move.

Take the example of Saul. Instead of mentoring David and securing his own legacy, he chose to resist what God was doing. His jealousy turned him into an adversary of the very man God had chosen to continue His work. Instead of recognizing God’s hand in David’s elevation, Saul tried to fight what he could not stop.

The principle remains true today: when God raises someone, it is not our place to oppose them. Resisting someone else's elevation does not preserve our position; it only exposes our insecurity.

Rather than fighting a rising voice, we should learn from it. God’s kingdom is about assignment, not competition. The same God who raised one can also position another.

If we find ourselves struggling with another’s success, we must examine our hearts and align ourselves with God's purpose rather than our personal pride.

FURTHER STUDY: Ecclesiastes 3:1, Philippians 2:3

GOLDEN NUGGET: When God raises someone, it is not our place to oppose them. Resisting someone else's elevation does not preserve our position; it only exposes our insecurity.

Ephesians 6:4 (KJV): And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

FAMILY SERIES: PARENTAL ALIENATION

One of the greatest mistakes a parent can make is involving their child in the conflicts of their marriage. A child’s relationship with the parent is different from the spouses’ relationship to each other and it is unfair to impose personal struggles onto them. Parental alienation—when one parent turns a child against the other—damages not only the present relationship but also the child's future understanding of family, trust, and love.

Jacob was loved by his mother (Genesis 25:28), but he still needed his father’s blessing (Genesis 27:1-29). No matter how much a mother nurtures, the role of the father is irreplaceable. Likewise, no matter how much a father provides, the love and wisdom of a mother are crucial. If a blessing is meant to come from one parent, but the other turns the child’s heart away, they have unknowingly robbed their child of something vital.

Parents must labor to present a vision of godly family values, regardless of personal disagreements. Children should see unity, love, and godly principles in their home—not division and bitterness. If you are in conflict with your spouse, strive to protect your children from its effects. The wounds of parental alienation run deep, affecting generations to come.

As believers, we are called to be peacemakers. Let us ask God for wisdom to handle conflicts privately, and grace to nurture our children in an environment of love, respect, and godliness.

Ephesians 3:16 (KJV): That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.

DIVINE STRENGTH

There’s a strength that doesn’t come from exercise, diet, or sleep. It’s not physical. It’s not mental grit. It’s spiritual—and it comes from God alone.

Paul’s prayer in our theme scripture isn’t focused on outward circumstances. He asks God to grant believers strength—not externally, but ā€œwith might by His Spirit in the inner man.ā€ Why? Because what happens on the inside determines how long and how well you last on the outside.

We often think health and longevity are tied mainly to what we eat or how we manage stress. And while those things are important, they’re not the full picture. Psalm 90:10 offers a key insight: ā€œThe days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore yearsā€¦ā€ In other words, strength can extend your life. Not just physical strength, but the kind that comes from a resilient, Spirit-empowered inner life.

The strength of your spirit matters more than you realize. Life is full of demands—some physical, some emotional, others spiritual. What sustains you through seasons of loss, pressure, or uncertainty isn’t willpower alone. It’s divine reinforcement in your inner man. That’s what allows you to stand when others fall, to recover when others fade, and to live full when others feel drained.

This kind of strength doesn’t just help you cope—it sustains your life. It protects your health. It fuels your purpose. And it positions you to live not only long, but well.

So embrace this divine strength. Because when your spirit is empowered by His Spirit, even the wear and tear of life won’t be able to cut you short. Hallelujah!
