Free Speech People's Rally update

Just to say that there is a firm plan for the free speech rally.
It will be announced at 1pm on O’Connell Bridge. Please be there early for 1pm.

Malachy Steenson said that he will be joining us in the rally and will be speaking. I'm going to the EastWall protest tomorrow and will be encouraging everyone to join us on Saturday. The main speaking location will be announced on the bridge at 1pm Saturday

We are starting at O'Connell Bridge 1pm and the rally will include a circuit of town walking through the streets asserting our message.

It's free speech so you can feel free to say what you like. The overall theme of the day is 'free speech' and defending that right.

Be ready to fight for freedom of expression. Have placards , banners,  whistles,  drums,  biscuit tin lids and bolts or something to bang them with.
We need to make an impact.

Here's the dilemma for Sinn Féin:

65% of their voters are concerned about "people coming into the country illegally, staying here and freeloading off the State" according to exit poll data in 2019.

Fianna Fáil aren't far behind with 61% of their voters concerned.

Fine Gael are on 51% and even Labour are on 46%.

Is it any wonder they all sign a pact to limit debate about immigration during elections?

I posted this two weeks ago in this group ... and comments were blocked 😮 ... search 'migration' in well kid

There needs to be a mature rational debate allowing all opinions to be expressed and heard regarding the desperately serious issues that we all face in this country.
At the moment it seems that only certain views are allowed to be heard.

Every town and village is being affected and I don't remember us the people being asked about these things .. especially mass immigration. Were you consulted or asked before Minister Charlie Flanagan TD or was it Coveney signed the 'Marrakesh Compact' on migration.
There was no debate , not even in Leinster House and the media kept it very quite.
Now we see the repercussions. Well was it a good idea ?

I don't think that this madness is helping anyone.
There needs to be an open, healthy discussion.. that would be a start in helping to resolve the issue.
And don't pretend that there isn't an issue.

Roscrea and all the rest of the country has been massively affected.
Let people talk, being respectful of the person, if not their views or actions.
