I wholeheartedly congratulate the NDA alliance, which is marching confidently towards a remarkable victory in the Bihar elections. The people of Bihar have given a clear and decisive mandate to support the continuation of the development-oriented governance led by Hon’ble Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri NitishKumar.

My special congratulations to the leaders of all alliance parties, BJP leadership, Jdu leaders, and the Lok Janshakti leadership, for securing this landslide victory. This mandate is a reflection of the people’s trust and their aspiration for progress.

In Andhra Pradesh, we saw those who swore to protect environment ruthlessly cut down trees, destroyed forests and enabled the smuggling of our vital ecological resources for selfish gain. And then, on the other end of the spectrum, we have a humble person whose life was a total dedication to nature - Saalumarada Thimmakka, the woman known simply as the "Mother of Trees."

From a small village in Karnataka, Thimmakka and her husband found their life's purpose when they couldn't have children. They chose to raise a family of green. With pure love and daily labour, they gifted the world a breathtaking canopy, planting and nurturing over 8,000 trees, including 375 majestic banyan trees. Her life was not about seeking power or wealth; it was a vow of unconditional love to Mother Earth.

Today, at 114 years young, this legendary protector of nature has finally left us. Her life is a powerful lesson in true public service. On behalf of JanaSena, I offer my deepest respects to the great Saalumarada Thimmakka.

We have lost our mother of Trees, but her spirit remains with us. She continues to inspire us all to work toward environmental conservation, to plant trees in our communities, and to become the responsible citizens our planet desperately needs.
Some time ago, I started reading The Wild East, and the details were nothing short of astonishing. The book lays bare how red sanders and our precious natural resources in the Seshachalam region and the Eastern Ghats were looted right in front of the system. It reveals how a few so-called “leaders,” hiding behind politics, operated like full-fledged mafia bosses.

Among them, one character caught my attention. The author shows, almost like a film unfolding, how a small-time contractor transformed himself into the kingpin of red sanders smuggling, building an entire criminal empire out of greed and power.

When you read it, you don’t just understand the crime, you feel the betrayal of the land, the forests, nature and the people.

The documentary Planet Killers presents an extraordinary account of how red sanders trees were felled, illegally transported, and smuggled, leading to the large-scale destruction of the Seshachalam Forest. It exposes the international kingpins behind this mafia, the brutal violence that took place, and the forest martyrs we lost in the process.

The criminals hiding behind political masks in the red sanders network are extremely dangerous to society. By maintaining close ties with smugglers, they turned red sanders smuggling into fuel for their political careers.

My appreciation to the makers for courageously bringing these facts to light and showing the brutal destruction of the Seshachalam Forest and its endangered Red Sanders.

Bhagwan Birsa Munda, revered as ‘Dharti Aaba’ (Father of the Earth), is not just a freedom fighter and tribal leader but a spiritual guide for the Adivasis. His life stood for protecting the ancestral Adivasi way of life and their identity.

When the Colonial rulers were forcefully converting the Adivasis through missionaries, Birsa Munda founded the Birsait Panth. This movement was a powerful fusion of spiritual reform and militant resistance. He declared self-rule against the colonial rulers, rejected forceful conversions and oppressive taxes that exploited the Adivasi communities.

The Birsait Panth united the tribes - Mundas, Oraons, and Kharias into a profound symbol of faith, identity and organized resistance against the foreign rule. His vision for freedom was powerfully captured in his rallying cry - “Abua raj seter jana, Maharani Raj tundujana” (“End the queen’s kingdom; establish our kingdom”)

In honour of this great freedom fighter, Bharat celebrates his birthday as Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas (Tribal Pride Day). On behalf of JanaSena, I pay my heartfelt tributes to the great Bhagwan Birsa Munda and may his spirit continue to inspire us - let us protect our forests, let us celebrate our heritage, let us strengthen our roots, and let us be proud of our identity.

Seshachalam Forest is not merely a forest; it is the sacred abode of Lord Balaji, blessed by the seven holy hills. And here, in this divine place, a heinous crime is being committed against our nation, our economy, our faith and our environment.

We speak of the Red Sanders tree. This incredible wealth, this Rakta Chandanam, is found nowhere else on Earth. It is a unique treasure, and it carries the spiritual weight of our people. Legends say it emerged from the divine blood of Lord Venkateswara himself! To cut this tree is not just a forestry crime—it is a spiritual desecration!

These trees are not lifeless wood. We know from the work of the great Indian scientist, Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose, that plants feel pain and shock. They live in a community, what the German forester Peter Wohlleben calls the "Wood-Wide Web." They share, they communicate, they protect each other.

When a mother tree is felled, the entire network shudders with an agonizing electric shock. The criminals who wield the axe are tearing apart a living, sacred community! They see only the red treasure, but we see the wounded faith of millions!

The recent inspection of the godowns at the Mangalam Depot reflected a chilling testament to the plunder of the last few years. It is a silent graveyard. 2.6 lakh logs—the severed remains of an estimated 1.3 lakh Mother trees—stolen, butchered, and stacked as numbered inventory. The financial theft alone is staggering: ₹2,000 crore, perhaps ₹5,000 crore, stolen directly from the State Exchequer and our national future! This is money that belongs to our people, money that should be building roads, schools and hospitals.

But this raises critical questions

How can a few people encroach on forest lands so easily?
Who gives them the audacity to cut down the red sandalwood trees without fear?
How do they smuggle them in broad daylight, escaping from the police, the security, the government agencies, and the community around the forest?

The answers point to systemic failure and a terrible lack of political will in the past. We must stop asking why and start demanding justice.

It’s time all those culprits faced the law and its consequences! No more can individuals treat these ancient forests as gardens in their backyards or treat the Endangered Red Sanders as their personal property.

Our coalition government will not tolerate the smuggling of Red Sanders any longer. We are identifying the smugglers, kingpins and all culprits involved. We will not just arrest them; we will seize their assets under the Forest Act!

A special, full-fledged operation, similar to the Centre's 'Operation Kagar,' to wipe out every single individual involved in this illegal trade shall be initiated soon. We will ensure fear among the smugglers so that no one, no one, dares to touch a single Red Sanders tree again.

The Red Sanders is a life that feels, it is our national wealth, and it is sacred. We are watching, and we will protect the wealth of our nation and the divine sanctity of Seshachalam!

Our Tirumala is not just a temple; it is the heart of our devotion, where we go with our deepest prayers. During the previous government’s tenure (2019–24), an estimated 10.97 crore people - your family, your neighbours, all of us - visited. Think of it - 60,000 devotees descended upon the holy shrine every single day. From the simple common man to the highest constitutional dignitaries—including the President of India, the Prime Minister and the Chief Justice - alongside titans of industry and luminaries from sports, arts, and literature.

While we were bowing down in reverence, the previous TTD Board and its officials were breaking our hearts. They betrayed our devotion and saw only an opportunity. Every single devotee was cheated. They did not just break rules - they shattered the sacred trust we placed in them. They broke our faith.
Our Culture, Civilization, and Ethos have always been the foundation of Bharat. The profound wisdom of Sanatana Dharma taught us tolerance, social acceptance, universal brotherhood, peace & harmony and a deep reverence for all creation, including Mother Nature herself. While our ethos and dharma guide us toward righteousness and duty, our Modern Independent India is solidified by our Constitution, the guardian of our democracy and unity.

The Colonial rulers and East India Merchants not only looted our material riches and exploited us to the core, but they also planted the seeds of inferiority and low self-esteem. This intellectual and cultural devastation was shrewdly planned and executed by men like Thomas Babington Macaulay, who’s infamous "Minute on Indian Education" aimed to create "a class of persons Indian in blood and colour, but English in tastes, in opinions, in morals and in intellect"—a blueprint for intellectual and cultural slavery that taught us to be ashamed of our own heritage. Even long after the colonials physically left, the hangover of this colonial mindset still persists.

The famous Political Philosopher & Marxist Frantz Fanon once quoted, “Imperialism leaves behind germs of rot which we must clinically detect & remove from our land but from our minds as well.”

I am immensely happy and proud that under the leadership of Hon Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, a decisive national initiative has been taken to not just wash away the colonial symbols and signs but to reclaim our own identity and restore the national sense of self-worth. Changing the name Racecourse Road to Lok Kalyan Marg shifts the focus from imperial leisure to the Welfare of the People. Placing the Sengol inside the new Parliament is embracing our own ancient tradition of governance rooted in Dharma. Renaming Kingsway (Rajpath) to Kartavyapath redefines the core national purpose from subjugation to Duty. The replacement of the colonial St. George’s Cross on the Indian Navy’s ensign with the royal seal of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is honouring our heroes and celebrating our history. These are not just changing names but a critical step towards Cultural Decolonization.

We can see the renewed national spirit shining brightest in Ayodhya today. The Dhwajarohan (flag-hoisting) ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple is not merely the completion of a construction project; it signifies cultural renaissance and civilizational affirmation. The future of Bharat truly rests inside each one of us. Let’s be proud of who we are, reconnect with our roots, and use ancient wisdom and knowledge to build the Naya Bharat. This isn't just a simple change; it’s a powerful awakening to bring back our Bharateeyata in every way we think and act! Jai Hind!
