People won't notice the:
- sacrifices
- struggles
- failures
- risks
- obstacles
- difficulties
- breakdowns
- self-doubts
They will only see your results and call you 'lucky'.
So stop impressing people.

> For direction - set goals
> For change - fix habits
> For consistency - build systems
A system is a string of processes that makes you effortlessly productive, helping you sustain momentum and conserving willpower.
Discipline + systems + spontaneity = creative genius
How To Build An Effective System:
1) Clearly establish your goal in mind and on paper.
Be specific, be realistic and back it up with a strong incentive. It is your goals that will determine the habits that youβll need to build. Your bespoke system will then be curated from your personal goals, habits and preferred lifestyle. Imitation is for the unserious.
2) Find your keystone habit
It is the habit that gives you the confidence to fulfill other tasks.
Ask yourself:
βWhatβs the ONE thing I can do that will make everything else easier or unnecessary?β
It must naturally excite you and should be easy to execute.
Your keystone habit could be;
β’ Jogging
β’ 20 push-ups
β’ Reading a page
β’ Replying emails
β’ Making your bed
β’ 5-minute meditation
β’ Journaling and day-planning
Do it first thing in the morning and build on that momentum -
stack up small wins all day long.
3. Set up triggers
This is something that will compel you to take action.
Sight trigger: When I see X, Iβll do Y
Location trigger: Whenever Iβm at X, Iβll do Y
Time trigger: At X oβclock, Iβll do Y
Feeling trigger: Whenever I feel such emotion, Iβll take such action.
4) Find ways to tweak your environment to work for you;
β’ Get out of your room as soon as you wake up (tidy your bed and surrounding before leaving)
β’ Set up a personal workspace, reading post or meditation station- a place you can have to yourself without distractions. This teaches your mind to associate the location with a certain action, minimizing willpower.
β’ Print a picture of your goal and paste it on your wall.
β’ Keep your running shoes by your bed etc...
5) Schedule Your Day
Self-awareness is critical for designing your day in such a way that you flow seamlessly between tasks.
* Design a work schedule for when you are most productive during the day (based on each activity). For example my body loves to workout in the afternoon, my brain loves to write in the morning, & I love to read at night.
* Choose a sleep schedule that follows your circadian rhythm - when do you naturally feel sleepy, what time of the morning are you the most alert after waking, what cycle gives you your deepest sleep?
* Know your eating window - do you eat only when you feel hungry, how many meals a day do you need to achieve your body goals, whatβs the best time to have your breakfast/lunch/dinner that wonβt make you feel lethargic?
Intermittent fasting helps greatly with food scheduling.
Just keep experimenting & tweaking your schedule till you find the optimal plan for your day.
