Kim Tae-hyung (Hangul: 김태형; born December 30, 1995) better known by his stage name V, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and actor. He is a member of the South Korean boy group BTS. Kim Taehyung was born in Seo District, Daegu, South Korea on December 30, 1995. He has two siblings. Taehyung joined Bangtan Boys in 2011, but was not introduced to the public until 2013. On June 13, 2013, Taehyung debuted as a member of Bangtan Boys on Mnet M! Countdown performed the song "No More Dream" from their debut single album, 2 Cool 4 Skool. On February 1, 2016, it was announced that Taehyung and Kim Min-jae would be appearing on the MBC channel reality show Celebrity Bromance. The first episode of the show aired on February 4 on MBig TV. In February 2016, it was revealed that Taehyung will soon make his acting debut in the historical drama Hwarang: The Beginning which will be broadcast in the second half of 2016 by KBS2 channel.
