Event management has two items categories but category(ies) can be added

The categories are:
• events
• event centres

To view/add category(ies), click on category button from the administrative buttons setion
Now let's add events items

In events add item form consists of
• image button
• title field
• amount (optional)
• category
• description
In the category field, if event centers is selected then three (3) additional fields appear which are:
• billing
• features button
• features lists

Billing is either per day or per hour

Features button is either radio or checkbox

Note:
Radio is when a customers booking for the center is expected to choose only one feature but in checkbox a customer can choose more than one feature
In the category field, if events is selected then three (3) additional fields appear which are:
• phone numbers (each number in a new line)
• number of days
• add anchor button
In number of days field, if 1 is entered three (3) fields appear:
• venue
• date
• time
In number of days field, if number entered is more than 1 then a field (same venue?) appears.

On the "Same Venue?" field, if "Yes" is selected, one (1) venue field and, date and time fields appear according to the number of days but if "No" is selected, then venue, date and time fields appear according to the number of days
Example in the image here, three days is entered and "Yes" then since the 3 day event will be done at the same venue so only one (1) venue field appears and three (3) date and time fields appear in accordance with the number of days entered

Note:
The difference between events items category and event centers items category is the for events category is for events like seminars, crusades, workshops, etc while event centers category is for event venues

As we can see that time doesn't permit us to add another shop category. We sincerely apologise for that

Welcome everyone to today's session of our training on the topic "how to create a business website & online store"
Today we want to take on e-commerce category as promised

E-commerce store category has the following features over product store category:
• items categories
• shopping cart
• promo option
• percentage promo discount
• add to cart functionality
• delivery method
Now let's discuss on e-commcerce items categories

To get the items categories modal, click on category button on the administrative buttons section of the website.

E-commerce items category list has one (1) predefined category called "Uncategorized" and other categories can be added

To add a category, enter the category name on the "Category Name" field and click on "Add" button
As shown on the image here we have added two (2) other categories (Sofas and Offices) to the category lists

Category can be edited and also deleted
Now let's add product items to the website store

To add items, click on "Add Item" button on the administrative buttons section of the website and the add items modal appears

The form consists of:
• image button
• name field
• regular price field (normal price)
• promo price field (optional)
• categories field
• add features button (optional)
• description field
• add now button
If add features button is clicked, additional three (3) fields (features name, features button and features lists) appear. Please refer to event management lesson for the use of these fields.

As many features can be added to the features lists

Features can be deleted by clicking on the red x button on the top right of each features
Now we added item without promo

These are the two items we added:

The one with promo has the regular price in red colour, strike-through, promo price without strike-through and percentage discount on top right of the item image

The one without promo has only the regular price
