ਮਾਨਸਾ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਮੰਗਤ ਰਾਏ ਬਾਂਸਲ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਮਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਬੰਧਕ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਬਦਮਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੁੱਟਮਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ 50 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ। ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਇਕ ਐਸਯੂਵੀ ਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਏ ਸਨ।
