This way, you won’t be afraid of traffic jams when you go to work 😲
Engineers from Georgia Tech spinoff Ground Control Robotics have developed a giant robotic centipede designed to crawl through challenging farmland and remove weeds.

Inspired by how centipedes and snakes move, the robot uses multiple limbs and side-mounted cable actuation to navigate complex terrain without much computing power. It’s particularly useful in steep or rocky fields where traditional machinery can’t operate, making it ideal for pesticide-free farms.

Boston Dynamics: for a humanoid robot to be successful and generalizable in a factory, warehouse, or even at home requires a comprehensive understanding of the world around it—both the shape and the context of the objects and environments the robot interacts with. To do those tasks with agility and adaptability, Atlas needs an equally agile and adaptable perception system.
