Let's talk about Periods!

We were at Jaigopal Garodia Girls Secondary School in Chennai, with @VirtusaCorp with hygiene kits for 1500 girl students.

These hygiene kits contain sanitary napkins (3), soaps (4) and a comic book on menstrual hygiene and health management.

Studies have shown that one in five girls dropout of school due to lack of access to menstrual hygiene knowledge and products.
This is the second time within months that landslides & cloudbursts have hit the hill states.

170 cloudbursts and landslides have been registered in Himachal, damaging nearly 9,600 houses and killing over 70 people.

There is an urgent need to arrange for their shelter"— Birsan, Pradhan, Patrighat Gram Panchayat, Mandi , Himachal Pradesh.
