Following drone attacks on eastern Saudi Arabia, Saudi officials have demanded that Baghdad prevent Iraqi territory from being used to launch missiles, the NYT reported.

Saudi Arabia says intercepted several drones aimed at petroleum facilities, launched Monday by Iranian proxy militias in Iraq.

Iraq's Iran-backed "Islamic Resistance" has rejected Saudi accusations that it launched drones at the kingdom, calling them proof that "hostility toward Iraq and its people is inherent to this regime."

The group says the charges are cover for Riyadh's fear of Yemeni retaliation, and warns that "every foolish Saudi act will be met with a harsh response."

U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to hold separate meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a White House official said.
