Speaking to The Irish Mirror, one frustrated driver said: “It’s been going on for about a year or a year and a half now.

“It became clear to me the same ladies are coming on with woolly hats and scarfs. I have caught them with their hands in women’s bags.

“I now make an announcement that there are pickpockets on board every time they get on.

“They follow the same pattern. There’s clear CCTV and I can't understand how they haven’t been caught yet.”

An asylum seeker with no passport, claiming to be from Syria and who says he arrived in Ireland in a shipping container in March, has been remanded in custody.

Seif Waleed Al Hindawi, 22, is accused of carrying out a predatory attack on a woman who informed gardaí that she was held on the ground and bitten on her face and lips after she was followed by the man after getting off the Luas in Churchtown.

Syrians are expedited through the asylum process in Ireland as nearly all are granted refugee status.

We were out canvassing again this evenning. Its safe to say that Tallaght Says No and Tallaght Wants Them Out! Lets take our country back together!

They were taking no chances and had the public order unit out to escort two minibuses of asylum seekers into the Carraroe Coral Hotel today. One of the buses had a UK reg. Rumours are circulating that investors recently purchased the property.

Carraroe is the village with the highest population of Irish speakers in the Connemara Gaeltacht. Nowhere is sacred. Nothing is off-limits.

Election posters have to be 2.5 meters off the ground so a couple of blind lads have going around with a measuring tape and a pair of snippers taking down any hung below the limit as a community service.

There's a genuine concern people could get their eyes poked out on the sharp corners, especially if they're sight impaired. Candidates whose posters they collect are then fined €150 per poster.

Things get wild during Ocean FM's local elections debate for Manorhamilton in Leitrim with independent candidate Diarmuid McConville.

In his election campaign material, McConville says he supports Operation Clontarf which he describes as the peaceful, friendly, Christian deportation of one million foreigners from Ireland, but he wasn't questioned about this policy goal during the Ocean FM debate.
