An asylum seeker has been sentenced to 20 months in prison for taking out his private parts and 'wiggling' them at two girls, aged six and four, who were playing in their garden, and then punching their father in the face when he was confronted.
Dilbag Singh Sheoran denied the charges but the jury took less than 50 minutes to unanimously find him guilty on both counts.
The court heard Sheoran was living at the Atlas House direct provision centre on McCowen's Lane in Tralee, and was previously convicted in 2020 for masturbating in front of a woman on a train as it neared Portlaoise.

Drivers say the same gang of pickpockets have now been identified by several of their colleagues, who still have no choice but to let them on board.
Speaking to The Irish Mirror, one frustrated driver said: “It’s been going on for about a year or a year and a half now.
“It became clear to me the same ladies are coming on with woolly hats and scarfs. I have caught them with their hands in women’s bags.
“I now make an announcement that there are pickpockets on board every time they get on.
“They follow the same pattern. There’s clear CCTV and I can't understand how they haven’t been caught yet.”

🔹 Hats and wigs to hinder being identified.
🔹 Long coats with large oversized bags slung high, or scarves to conceal what their hands are doing.
🔹 Leggings/tracksuit bottoms and runners to make a get away.
Tell your friends and especially any vulnerable people who use the Luas. They'll be up and down it as there's no interest in catching them or they'd be stopped already.
