A resident near the International Protection Office on Mount Street describes what it's like living close to the migrant slum.
"They've attacked one of my female tenants."
"There are 220 individuals living there right now, all men of various ages. They sell drugs, they have gangs, they have fighting. They had a scabies outbreak about two months ago that hospitalised six people."
She's from America and sounds like your basic shitlibโno lessons learned:
"You have also right-wing, anti-immigrant, racist nutbags coming in making videos antagonising the situation."

Investigation launched after a 50 year old Albanian rapist who was released from Cloverhill prison today despite there being a deportation order for him.
Albania has been one of the top countries of origin for asylum swindlers in Ireland in recent years with a typical rejection rate of 99%, yet Albanian was one of the languages which Minister Roderic O'Gorman launched his white paper to end Direct Provision in, committing to provide all asylum seekers from Albania with their own homes within four months of their arrival.
In 2022, Albanian Direct Provision resident and gangster Ndricim Qema was nabbed for facilitating people smuggling operations into Ireland. Arranging flights and forged Italian papers at a cost of โฌ5,000 to โฌ10,000, arrivals would dump documentation on coming to Dublin Airport and claim asylum.
Also in 2022, Minister Helen McEntee issued a blanket amnesty to 3,000 asylum seekers who were in the Direct Provision system for over two years in order to clear the system out for the launch of Roderic O'Gorman's White Paper under advice by Catherine Day, head of the government's expert advisory group on asylum.
In the UK, Albanian criminals make up the largest nationality in the prison system.

Sources say prison bosses are scrambling for answers after the rapist, who was on remand in relation to the deportation order, was allowed to walk out the door of the prison.
The rapist was found guilty of raping a woman who heโd agreed to meet for a coffee in a Leinster town in the summer of 2017.
In a victim impact statement the woman said in the immediate aftermath of the rape she just wanted to die. โI had asked God to let me sleep and not wake up againโ.
She said she no longer wanted to live in that town, which forced her into making her family homeless and moving to live in a hotel in another town.
The woman said she was mentally unwell and her children had no idea what was wrong with her.
She said she cleans herself a number of times a day. She described trying to clean herself by burning her skin and going on sunbeds in attempt to do this.

It's suspected that the residents of the migrant slum on Mount Street will be moved to Newtownmountkennedy today after Taoiseach Simon Harris told the Dรกil today that there were plans to clear it imminently.
Drone footage captured today show the site at Trudder House is now prepared with ten tents to fit 20 migrants each and one large dining tent. Large concrete bollards are now blocking the space where protesters had set up a camp opposite the site.
Locals are acting on intel that the migrants will be delivered to Trudder House at 5AM. Some intend to line the side of the road from 4AM onwards for a peaceful protest.

A High Court judge has criticised the Department of Justice for failing to inform a Kurdish asylum seeker from Iraq that he needed to register as a sex offender in Ireland when he moved to Ireland from the UK in 2021 after being convicted of a sexual offence four months after he arrived there in 2018.
The 23-year-old was one of two migrants who successfully argued that he should not be sent back to the UK due to the risk of being sent to Rwanda.

Ocean FM's coverage of the arrest of local election candidate James Conway last Saturday for causing criminal damage to a home in Kilglass, west Sligo, allegedly belonging to an accommodation provider for asylum seekers.
Conway recorded himself with a crowbar outside the home while waiting for the gardaรญ to arrive and has been critical of the lack of coverage in the media about the incident.
Ocean FM say that the leadership of the Irish Freedom party have confirmed that Conway will still stand in Ballymote-Tubbercurry area for the party in the local elections on June 7th.
Reaction from texters to Ocean FM was mixed.
Edit: Ocean FM neither asked for nor received a statement from leadership of the Irish Freedom Party regarding James Conway.

>Regardless of how many GBNews slots are offered, the Tory machine has zero interest in solving demographic replacement on either side of the border or in Britain. Just as in Carsonโs time, Ireland is a chip in a wider internal power game by London elites happy to placate the Brexit-voting peasants with some cheap Daily Mail headlines as the country transforms into a Pakistani slum.
>Thinking that the Republicโs hopelessly anglophile political class is simply Brit bashing a la John McGuirk doesnโt cover the real issues at hand. London mandarins seriously considered moving millions of Hong Kongers in the 1980s to the six counties to kill two birds with one stone and wonโt hesitate to direct tens of thousands of Afghans to Mount Street if it needs a polling boost.

Speaking to Matt Cooper on The Last Word in 2007, the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern admitted that immigration could not continue at the levels of the last 10 years and admitted that perhaps another percentage point, from 10% to 11% was as far as we could go.
Taoiseach: "Our capacity to continue or to move beyond the 10% figure, I would have grave doubts about that. I'm not saying you can't go to 11.You can't go as we have done in a decade from probably 2% to 10 and in the next decade go from 10 to 20."
Matt Cooper: "So does that mean we have enough immigrants who have come to the country at this stage, as far as you are concerned?"
Taoiseach: "I think the numbers that we'll be able to take in in the next 10 years will not be able to match the numbers that came in in the last 10 years and I think that is self-evident. There is no country or at least very few countries with our size and capabilities would end up with 20% of the workforce non-Irish."
