The UK Government has said it would not accept any asylum seekers refused entry into Ireland that have come from the European Union.

Eyewitness account of the Garda brutality against peaceful protesters in Newtownmountkennedy last Thursday. Her father-in-law was the man lying prone on the ground with his eyes closed after the public order unit charged them.

Gardaí in hazmat suits at the scene of an incident outside the Irish Times offices on Tara Street in which a man sustained serious injuries in an apparent knife attack where a number of homeless men had been sleeping in tents. A significant amount of blood was visible on the footpath close to the scene.

It’s understood that the injured man (40s) was stabbed inside the tent by another man. Emergency services arrived at the scene soon after the incident, and the man was transferred to St James’s Hospital.

The security vulnerability in the north has been imposed on us and is not manned because a joint agreement decided that's preferable to the alternative.
