Regan says the "staggering" levels of inward migration is an important part of a liberal society and a prosperous economy.

Back around the time Pearse Doherty came to.the fore in SF, they went around looking for "20 something blonde women" to pad out the party election candidates. You could gave rolled this one off an assembly line. Literally never heard of her until today when she was used as a sandbag on RTE

Comrades, the embers of the revolution have re-ignited in Dรบn Laoghaire.
We will be meeting at the lovingly restored Queen Victoria Fountain outside the Royal Irish Yacht Club tomorrow for elevenses to plan our next steps, followed by prosecco in Wetherspoons to celebrate our victory.

Willie O'Dea TD has publicly advised his party to abandon the so-called hate speech bill and to "stop listening to the out of touch Greens and NGOs" in the aftermath of the government's dual referenda defeat ahead of local and EU elections in June.

Senator Rรณnรกn Mullen
Today with Claire Byrne
Claire Byrne rattled as Senator Rรณnรกn Mullen calls out RTร bias.
"You said there seems to be a general acceptance that that language was dated. Who said? For years we've only listened to certain politicians and NGOs being interviewed about those wordings."

John McGuinness & Matt Carthy
Newstalk
Fianna Fรกil TD John McGuinness has told Newstalk that the referenda was a "complete cock-up" by government.
He said government has been ignoring the people and agreed it's time to abandon the hate-speech laws to focus on fixing basic problems like health care and school bus-runs instead.
"They've done huge damage in terms of public trust. They've exposed themselves as well as to how far they will go in their arrogance to get what they want."
He believes Fianna Fรกil damaged itself going into coalition with Fine Gael and propping them up in the last government.
"It's hard to tell the difference between any of the parties in government, and that's not good for democracy."
Matt Carthy TD is on groveling duties for Sinn Fรฉin. He told Newstalk that re-running the referenda is not on Sinn Fรฉin's priority list at all and it won't be happening if they form the next government.

Ireland Rejects Liberal Referenda
On March 8th Ireland overwhelmingly rejected two liberal referenda marking a political and cultural sea change. I discuss what I believe the implications are going forward.
