Remember when they told us that under the EU's Temporary Protection Directive, unlimited numbers of people from Ukraine would only be entitled to stay in Ireland for three years maximum.

That was a ruse.

This is a plantation.

A mother on Cork's Red FM explaining that the article on mothers in the constitution now framed by the government and the NGOs on their payroll as a sexist relic of the bad old days of Catholic Ireland, was in reality inserted to protect mothers from being compelled to engage in wage slavery to the detriment of their children's wellbeing.

One upshot of this referendum to remove the article is that it has exposed the vision for Ireland which has been denied to mothers while the regime deceitfully attempts to put it out of their reach.

Here's the 2017 Examiner article by Victoria White (Eamon Ryan's wife) referenced in this radio clip.

RTร‰ are fairly glum on the prospects of the referenda passing.

"There are some here who think it's a strong possibility that the turnout could be shy of 30 per cent. If that were to happen, well the political feeling is that that would more likely lead to a rejection of the amendments ..."

Births in Ireland dropped by 13.5 per cent as the number of new babies across the European Union hit a record low, the blocโ€™s statistics agency said.

The decline can be explained by a brief baby boom after the Covid pandemic, with fertility rates reaching a five-year high in Ireland in 2021 and increasing across the EU as a whole.

In 2020, 55,959 babies were born in Ireland, which rose to 60,553 in 2021. In 2022, that dropped to 54,411 births.

Since 2011, the fertility rate in once devoutly Roman Catholic Ireland has decreased from 2.03 births per woman to 1.54.

โ€œFertility rates are low and populations are ageing,โ€ said Fabian Zuleeg, chief executive of the European Policy Centre think tank in Brussels.

โ€œThis demographic transition is a major transformation that has an impact across societies and populations, and should lead to a redesign of policies, including migration, given that tight labour markets are already a drag on growth.โ€

Confirmation from the Attorney General (via The Ditch) that the proposed referendum change to the definition of family will give greater weight to non-marital rights in immigration cases.

No wonder certain immigration solicitors are salivating at the prospect of a 'yes'...

Connacht & Ulster: "Slow is the word we're hearing from experienced presiding officers across the board."

NO/NO was the clear favourite on BoyleSports an hour before polls close.

Unusually, neither the Irish Times nor RTร‰ commissioned an exit poll although a number of people said they were polled by Ipsos so maybe they saw a NO/NO coming and cancelled the party.

Counting begins at 9am tomorrow.
