"We were blissfully unaware that we were living amongst total evil and he was right under our noses in our community โ practically on our doorstep in fact. Crossing a national border does not automatically instil a moral code in a person. You were given an Irish welcome and supported by the state to allow you to reside here. You repaid this by brutally murdering a beautiful talented girl who contributed so much to society."

The EU has devised a punishment for our deceptive GDP figures fueled by tax avoidance schemes for multinationals. I'd say our government is treacherous enough to opt us in.

รamonn Mac Thomรกis was an author, broadcaster, historian, Irish Republican, advocate of the Irish language and lecturer.
He took part in the 1956-62 IRA border campaign, where he would be interned in the Curragh Camp. He was a very active Irish Republican throughout the 1960s. Though close to Tomรกs Mac Giolla, he took the Provisional side during the split.
He presented his own series on Dublin on RTร during the 1970s and was well known for guided tours and lectures of his beloved Dublin.
However, he would be arrested and censored due to his Sinn Fรฉin membership and was dragged through the Special Criminal Court during the 1970s Cruise O'Brien years.
Under Section 31 of the Broadcasting Act, due to his membership of Sinn Fรฉin in the 1970s he was removed from his position in making some of the RTร historical programmes
I am going to post various clips of his below on Dublin, which are very melancholic given current state of the city - a glimpse into rare old times

That time a Cork bookshop owner put a photo of the six Roma women who had been stealing from her in the window to warn other businesses. Then NGOs tried to bully her into removing it.

Eyewitness account of the subversion at the Killarney Says No protest on Saturday.
Marchers were told not to bring signs displaying their concerns and not to chant. They were ushered down a side street away from public view to hear a two minute speech from Danny Healey-Rae. Onlookers had to ask what the purpose of the protest was because it wasn't clear.
A lady who had a t-shirt with the slogan "enough is enough" was blocked from media cameras. Journalists were told by organisers not to allow her to speak on camera.
Another lady attempted to unfurl her Tricolour only to be told by an organiser to put it away as it was not allowed. The organiser then called over gardaรญ for enforcement who told the lady she could not fly the flag as it was a 'political statement'.

If Russiaโs aim in aiding undocumented migrants from countries like Yemen, Somalia, and Syria to cross the border into the EU is to destabilise wider European society, what does that say about the NGOs and European entities who engage in similar actions?

South Africa's ruling African National Congress government says it needs to โpress resetโ on liberal asylum policies it can no longer afford so it can restrict immigration amid widespread public resentment ahead of next year's general election.
A new paper proposes temporarily pulling out of the 1951 UN refugee convention and the 1967 refugee status protocol which the Home Affairs minister said were a mistake to sign up to.
The ANC said there are currently many vulnerable gaps and loopholes exploited by traffickers, criminals and economic migrants.
Foreigners are widely blamed for taking jobs from locals, committing crime and overburdening public services.
Under the proposed reforms, South Africa could rejoin the conventions after:
๐น Restricting the right for refugees to work.
๐น Restricting their right to education.
๐น Restricting their right to claim citizenship.
๐น Introducing new laws to make it easier to send refugees back to countries no longer deemed dangerous.

โDid Ashling Murphyโs death teach us anything?โ
A Tralee woman has spoken of feeling intimidated and frightened when a group of around 20 foreign drunken men shouted sexual slurs at her as she walked through Tralee Town Park on Saturday afternoon.
She said she walks through the park to get to work everyday but the problem of gangs of men intimidating women is escalating.
The men leave behind empty beer cans and drug paraphernalia at the "Community Garden" area where the incident took place.
She has since spoken with other women who say they no longer use the park because of the men. When she brought the issue to the attention of a town park staff member, she was informed that there was nothing they could do.
The woman also learned that three teenage girls, who were walking ahead of her, had also been harassed by the same group of men.
According to the girls, the men are a regular presence in the park, even on weekdays when they leave school.

Conor McGregor now calling out the government for election rigging after Taoiseach Leo Varadkar issued a statement yesterday reminding foreigners that they can register to vote in local elections regardless of visa status (including all asylum seekers).
"This is the most preposterous, ridiculous, scheming attempt at gaining votes this government has attempted yet. A real showing of the lack of care they have for the common Irish citizen."
