Clondalkin is having a terrible problem with guests from the plantation centres doing drugs in the area and then leaving refuse from their drug paraphernalia where kids could happen upon it.
Local elected representatives seem thoroughly disinterested while gardaí seem more interested in policing concerned Irish parents so the community are rallying again today outside the SIAC building off Monastery Rd at 5:30pm. All support welcome.

Letterkenny's 120-bedroom Clanree Hotel is set to accommodate 175 people from Ukraine starting September 1st.
The Clanree is part of the McGettigan Group which last year closed McGettigan’s Hotel in the town centre to host Ukrainians.

🚨 Community Alert for north Sligo
An investigation is underway into a suspected attempted child abduction that occurred at around 9pm last night on the Rosses Point Road.
A local residents association reports that a 16-year-old girl had a very upsetting experience while she was walking home across the bridge near the Seaview Drive estate in Cartron Village when a foreign man, driving a white saloon car with foreign plates beginning with the letter R, pulled up beside her.
It is understood that the man then opened the car door and tried to lure the girl in. However, he drove off when his attempts failed. He is described as being possibly Eastern European.
Anyone who was travelling in the area and may have dash cam footage is asked to make it available to gardaí.
The Yeats Country Hotel in Rosses Point is currently hosting Ukrainians and some Roma gypsies, but it is unknown if any of the residents are suspected of being involved in the incident.

A Dublin woman is urging others to be careful after having a frightening experience while walking to work this morning at 6:30am which caused her life to flash in front of her eyes.
The woman said she was walking down the hill from the Oliver Bond flats towards Smithfield when a white transit van came out of nowhere with two foreign men demanding she get into it. One of them said he wanted to do sexual things to her.
The woman managed to flee and said she didn't stop running until she got to her job in Smithfield. She spotted the van driving into the Oliver Bond flats afterwards.
Others texted the woman to say they spotted a van which matches the description at Marrowbone Lane driving towards the Oliver Bond flats at 5:45am.
