🚨 Community Alert for south Dublin
There have been two incidents of suspected child abductions recently.
In Churchtown, a man driving a black or navy Ford Focus offered a young boy sweets to get into his car, while in Rathfarnham, two boys were walking home from Castle Golf Club when they were approached by a man driving a dark coloured car who asked them to get in.
It's unknown if it was the same man in both cases.

Facebook have removed a livestream of child protection activists appealing to Limerick City Library staff for the removal of sexually explicit material in the children's section, based on the claim that there was a breach of the GDPR in the recording. Liam Hogan says he'll be writing to other libraries to inform them of the strategy.

Leah Doherty, the daughter of disgraced former Fianna Fáil minister Seán Doherty, is requesting this video clip be removed from the internet.
The video shows Doherty's attempt to steal a cap worn by child protection activist Andy Heasman who defeats her efforts.
However, despite demanding the footage be removed, Doherty has also used a single screenshot of the clip to make a claim that it demonstrates an inclination for violence from Heasman towards his political opponents.
Heasman has spent the last two weeks travelling up the river Shannon by boat to campaign against children as young as 12 being allowed to access public library books promoting anal fisting, the consumption of human waste for sexual gratification and the use homosexual dating apps to engage in these and other practices.
Doherty opposes the campaign.
She has a prior conviction for assaulting activists she disagrees with in Carrick-On-Shannon in 2019.

Banagher Convent in County Offaly is set to accommodate 120 asylum seekers.
Built in 1836, the convent school closed its doors in 2010 when it amalgamated into the new Banagher College.
Since then, the Laois Offaly Education Training Board has left the building to rot, but not that it matters as the taxpayer surely picked up the renovation bill to prepare it for the town's new guests.
Locals did have lots of great ideas to repurpose the old convent with suggestions like:
🔹 A local business hub with meeting rooms.
🔹 A charity hub with drop-in centres.
🔹 A weekly indoor market selling local goods.
🔹 A historical library.
🔹 A theatre space for the local acting groups.
🔹 A scout den.
🔹 Living spaces for young people who want to move out of their parents' houses.
But no, instead it will be used to house a new voting block for planter politicians.
