Chilimbar Vasile (57), a father-of-eleven who has been jailed for three years for laundering โฌ228,000 through an AIB bank account, was discovered to have received โฌ164,000 in State rent allowance while living in Ireland on top of his โฌ455 weekly disability allowance.
He had prior convictions for stealing from charity collection boxes in two churches in Waterford and Cork and has no employment history in the country.
An analysis of his phone revealed CCTV footage of a large house belonging to him in Romania with three luxury cars parked outside. A large quantity of cash in various denominations could be seen being counted on a kitchen table.
No mortgage or loan was found to exist on the property and Vasile had no visible or traceable source of income. Vasile said the money had been derived from begging and from selling copies of The Big Issue.
Years ago there was a TV documentary on the mansions Roma gypsies were building for themselves back in Romania from the proceeds of welfare abuse, crime and organised begging that they carried out in western Europe. There's no chance something like that would be shown on mainstream TV these days. The media won't even identify their background.

Fianna Fรกil Cllr Noel Thomas, who recently spoke up against the refugee racket on Galway Bay Fm, speaks to Gerry O'Neill from The West's Awake.
Unobjectionable as his remarks were, a year ago there would have been hit pieces in the media with calls from the NGO class for his party to reprimand him.
Nobody's said a word. It would just make it worse for them if they did, and he says nobody he knows in Fianna Fรกil or any party disagrees with him, privately.

Once a vibrant hotel famous for its local dances, it appears that the Seafield Hotel, Sligo is being converted into a Plantation centre for people who self- identity as asylum-seekers.

Parents of children attending the Belmayne Educate Together National School are being advised that there have been two suspected attempted child abductions in the area in recent days.
In the first instance, on Tuesday, June 20th, at around 4pm, a child was approached by a man in a black van who told the child to 'jump' into his van and that he would give him a lift. The child fled as quickly as they could to where they knew friends were located.
In the second instance, on Thursday, June 22nd, a child at the local playground was approached by an elderly woman carrying lollipops who tried to coax a child into a white van.
No descriptions of the suspects have been provided.

Romanian man Valentin Rada is to stand trial for alleged human trafficking, managing a brothel and controlling prostitution in Belfast as part of an investigation into a suspected crime gang involved in the sexual exploitation of vulnerable women between January 2016 and June 2021.
Rada allegedly boasted that he "lives like a lord" in Northern Ireland, the High Court has heard.
Prosecutors also claimed Valentin Rada (34) was secretly recorded telling an associate that he disfigured a woman by beating her to a pulp.
He was detained with another man on June 16 as part of a joint operation between the PSNI and Romanian authorities.
Nine other suspects were arrested during searches carried out at the same time in Romania.

South East Radio talks to Fionntรกn ร Sรบilleabhรกin, the Sinn Fรฉin councillor for Gorey-Kilmuckridge who made some remarks critical of the refugee racket recently, calling the govt's immigration policies a cash cow.
To sum up his criticism:
๐น The asylum system is an attractive get-rich-quick industry for speculators & developers.
๐นNo local consultation on decisions imposed by Dublin.
๐นThe public are emotionally blackmailed into silence with language around 'refugees' orchestrated by powerful and well-funded NGOs when it's clear many are chancers taking advantage of a lax system.
๐นThe need for a broader discussion on the entire immigration system โ If there's a labour shortage, we should be trying to attract Irish people home.
As with Cllr Noel Thomas recently, the interview wasn't hostile and there's been no backlash from his party or the NGO sector about his remarks โ just silence. With local elections next year, I think there's a growing fear parties are now exposed on immigration.

High rates of gardaรญ quitting the force in west Dublin with morale in tatters due to population increases leaving them unable to cope with higher levels of crime.
โPut it this way, if someone was of the mind to go on a crime spree, they would be best advised to do it in Dublin West.โ
There are now more than 30,000 active criminal investigations in the area while 10 per cent of garda resignations are from gardaรญ based there.
โmany are voting with their feet and walking out of the forceโ
This is how society slowly decays while Goldman Sachs builds the next set of apartment blocks to pack their rent slaves into.

David Quinn on GB News regarding Helen McEntee's Hate Offences bill.
"So the ironic thing again is, we've replaced this really strict Catholic consensus with this extremely strict PC one, and the same people who were extremely opposed to the Church and its dominance are the same people who are introducing a lot of this sort of stuff and they can't see the irony, and they can't see the double-standard involved."
They fully comprehend the hypocrisy. They don't care. David Quinn can't see this.

Brazilian man who used a fake Spanish passport to get an Irish PPS number which he subsequently used to claimed the Pandemic Unemployment Payment avoids conviction.
>Solicitor Frank Gearty stated that his client had entered a plea of guilty from an early stage and had co-operated at all times. Mr Gearty said there was a โcommon traitโ to such prosecutions where Brazilian employees in the Irish meat industry had used fake European documents to get PPS numbers, but industry closures during the pandemic brought them into contact with the Department of Social Protection.
So because it's common for illegals to use fake passports to undermine Ireland's labour market, that makes it all ok.
Not a serious country.

Justice Minister Helen McEntee branded a 'joke of a woman' after gardaรญ took an hour to respond to an attack on female jogger in Chapelizod by a foreign man.
Independent journalist Philip Dwyer has interviewed two of the women who witnessed an assault on a female jogger on the banks of the Liffey between Chapelizod and Islandbridge in Dublin on Tuesday morning. One of them had recorded footage of the attacker which circulated online during the day though the details were unknown.
They told Dwyer they were walking along the river bank with two other women who are training for the Dublin marathon together when they heard a scream coming from the other side.
Glancing over, they saw a stocky man had grabbed a woman by her hair and was holding her down on her knees, hitting her and kicking her while she shouted for help. They said he looked crazed and had a sleeping bag beside him.
They shouted over to leave the woman alone which managed to distract him enough that the victim was able to flee, hiding herself in the nearby allotments. Two of the women ran over to help her while the other two stayed and tried to continue to distract the man so he wouldn't chase after his victim. He remained in the area and started doing exercises on some public workout equipment.
Gardaรญ were called but took an hour to arrive as they said they were too busy and didn't have the manpower to respond any quicker. They said that as the attacker wasn't reported to have been carrying a weapon, the assault wasn't considered a priority for them.
After the attacker was arrested and bailed, the gardaรญ confirmed to the women that he was a foreigner who spoke broken English but didn't require an interpreter in court. His victim was badly shaken up but doing okay and had gone to her GP.
They heard that she had been jogging on her own when the attacker initially stuck his leg out and tripped her up. She jogs along the bank every day but said she may avoid the area now. Another lady told them she believed she had seen the same man with a tent in the vicinity so thought perhaps he had been camping nearby.
A female garda told them the attacker possibly had a particular contempt for women as she noticed he acted differently towards her compared to the three male colleagues she was with. However, a separate witness said he previously saw the same foreigner attacking a man on a bike.
The women told Dwyer that they were advising others to jog in pairs or not at all and branded Justice Minister Helen McEntee a 'joke of woman' when asked what they thought of her immigration policies. McEntee has previously promised to crack down on violence against women and said she was 'determined' to see women walk streets of Ireland safely again.
Asked whether they thought the huge numbers of foreign men being dumped in communities around the country by the government had made Ireland more dangerous for women, they agreed and one them added that she lived in Clondalkin where some asylum seekers had been accommodated in the SIAC building so understood the issue.
"People are afraid to speak out for fear of being called racist. It's not racist. If you want your country to be safe, that's not racist. It's just logical. At the end of the day, what is the need for all these men?"
