🚨 Community Alert for Limerick.
A mother says she was in the People's Park in Limerick with her sister and daughter when two foreign men approached them just as they were leaving.
One of the men then started caressing her daughter's face, trying to persuade the girl to go with him.
The mother says she grabbed her daughter and they took off but the men tried following them for some time.
Other mothers are reporting similar incidents in the replies and say they no longer use the park as it's so full of men now.

A father says his teenage daughter came home traumatised when she was followed home by a man after they both got off the C2 bus in Lucan last night.
After the girl made it to an enclosed housing area, she shouted for help and managed to capture a picture of the man as he backed off.

There are now two areas where asylum seekers have set up camps in Dublin. One is at the International Protection Office off Mount St Upper and the other is down an alley which they've barricaded off Sandwith Street Upper about half a kilometre away. Locals aren't happy and have been recording confrontations.
Curiously, you can hear one asylum seeker in the clips above responding to one local man with the NGO talking point that Ireland has a diaspora of 80 million people which they claim requires us to accommodate unlimited numbers of foreigners.
Anyone could take these men into their homes and get them off the streets but for all the talk from the 35% of people who say we need to welcome ever more asylum seekers to Ireland, few it would seem are willing to lead by example and share their homes with them.

Under the hate crime legislation, there would be no enhanced penalty for the assailant if they're ever charged. You can bet there would be if anyone attacked their rallies though — a two-tier legal system.

Looks like the locals were given incorrect information. Asylum seekers don't get a work permit only once their asylum applications are approved. They get a work permit after six months here regardless of what stage their applications in in unless it is rejected within that time. If they acquire a work permit and their application is subsequently rejected, they can continue working while they appeal the decision and in the majority of cases ultimately be allowed stay regardless.
