Kellie Harrington bent the knee which might save her Spar sponsorship for now.

But the dirt smell blood in the water and they're now digging into her twitter likes for evidence of anything breaking their other cardinal sin: Thou shalt not criticise transgenderism.

This week we were told it was in the public interest that a failed asylum seeker who refuses to go home (except on holiday) would receive a caution for assaulting a Ukrainian kitchen worker in a DP centre. Aldi were under no pressure to stop selling her sauce range.

But if you're a working class Irish woman and express any concerns about immigration, the dirt will go after your income.

41 per cent of Ukrainians say they plan to stay in Ireland for a long period, but which part of the Temporary Protection Directive allows them to believe they have any choice in the matter?

This could explain why the Department of Integration insists there are 53 asylum seekers staying at the Columb Barracks while Mullingar Says No protesters say that they can count only six and were under the impression many had left.

I would also guess that when the department is deciding which asylum seekers are to be moved to tented accommodation, they select those who don't use their beds in DP centres much.

Asylum seekers are never forced to stay in the DP system. They can stay with friends or anyone who is willing to take them in, or rent somewhere themselves.

However, if the State is not accommodating them, they won't receive other state benefits like social welfare or help with housing costs either.

Consequently there's an incentive to keep an official address at a State accommodation site even if they are staying elsewhere.

This is worth investigating. Who are they staying with and how can they afford it? Also, how many beds in the direct provision system lie unoccupied every night?

Looks like Joe Daly and his People Before Profit goons will show up on Saturday in Castlebar. This is great news! We're really looking forward to hearing what they have to say. It's a public assembly and we welcome all views. Will Joe be brave enough to address the people of Mayo? See you all on Saturday at 4pm. Please share!!!

Strange front page headline when immigration has zero effect on housing.
