Immigration into Australia 'is a giant ponzi scheme'
Economist Judith Sloan told Sky News Australia:
"What the economic analysis basically tells you is that in fact if there are any gains in per capita income, they're largely secured by the migrants themselves."
"The role of the government is actually to look after the best interests and well-being of the citizens. To say that they should be worried about the well-being of the people who voted them in, strikes me as uncontroversial."

Immigration into Australia 'is a giant ponzi scheme'
Sky News host Andrew Bolt says the economy is in such trouble now that Australia “can’t afford the old idiocies of the past,” which includes the bipartisan consensus regarding a high net immigration rate.

>A legal challenge by John Waters and Gemma O'Doherty against laws introduced by the State due to the Covid-19 pandemic is doomed to failure, lawyers for the State have argued before the High Court.
>On the second day of the hearing Patrick McCann SC, appearing with Gerard Meehan Bl, for the State told the court the application was "doomed" on several grounds.
>He said the action was procedurally flawed. It should have been brought by way of plenary hearing, which would involve the hearing of oral evidence before a court, and not by way of judicial review, counsel said.
>Judicial review, he said, was something used to ensure lower courts and public administrative bodies have carried out their lawful functions and not a way to challenge a decision of the legislature or the Oireachtais, counsel added.
>Counsel added the applications lacked the legal standing to bring the case to a full hearing, as they had not set out how the regulations challenged personally affects them.
>There was a failure to put expert evidence supporting their challenge before the court, counsel argued.
>Counsel said that the courts should not interfere with decisions made by the Houses of the Oireachtas in relation to the laws brought about by Covid-19, and that leave should not be granted as the matters raised cannot be decided on by a court of law.

Court reserves decision in Gemma O'Doherty and John Waters challenge against Covid-19 laws
A legal challenge by John Waters and Gemma O'Doherty against laws introduced due to the Covid-19 pandemic is doomed to failure, lawyers for the State have argued.
Eric Zemmour, a prominent conservative intellectual and political journalist, recently argued that France’s crime ridden and drug infested ‘suburbs’ – also known as no-go zones – have become foreign enclaves and must be reconquered by force or abandoned entirely.
During a discussion segment on the French television channel CNEWS, Zemmour contends that a catastrophic situation has arisen where hostile foreign forces, most of which are Islamic, have taken over the suburbs of various cities in France and continue to wage war against law enforcement.
Zemmour, who’s also a spokesman for the police union Synergie, described an ‘asymmetrical war’ being waged by the Left-wing media against the police, who are smeared as colonizers and blamed for the violence which often takes place in these migrant enclaves.

Jemima Burke from Western News asks Tony Holohan whether patients who have not tested positive for Covid-19 are admitted to Covid-19 hospital wards.
Burke's microphone was cut off throughout her questioning which appears to be at Holohan's direction. The audio in this recording has been adjusted so you can hear Burke as Holohan's microphone picked her audio up faintly.
Sally Maaz was a 17-year old Syrian girl who lived in Ballyhaunis with her parents Abdullah and Rula Maaz. She was born with a congenital heart defect. Her parents brought her to the emergency department on April 14th after she developed severe back pain and respiratory problems.
She died in Mayo University Hospital on April 24th. Her parents have stated that Sally was admitted to the Covid-19 hospital ward despite testing negative twice for Coronavirus and having multiple health conditions.
She tested positive for Covid-19 four days before she died.

New Labour Leader Alan Kelly says he wants to repeal the 27th Amendment which would enable immigrants to acquire citizenship through the practice of having anchor babies.
As a consequence of the Good Friday Agreement being signed in 1998, Irish citizenship became available to anyone born in Ireland regardless of origin.
As a result, pregnant women from all over the world soon started flying into Dublin to deliver their babies with many first filing a spurious asylum claim to gain entry.
Maternity hospitals begged the government to do something until finally a referendum was called in 2004 where 80% of the public voted to introduce a 27th amendment in order to stop the anchor baby racket.
Alan Kelly wants it repealed.
The 2016 census revealed that a record 3.3% of 10-14 year olds in Ireland were of African origin.
That peak can largely be attributed to the period from 1998 to 2004 when birth-right citizenship was a constitutional right.

Piaras MacÉinrí claiming that the dominant Irish nationalist struggles throughout the history of Ireland have been based on an inclusive perspective that anyone in the world can be Irish. He labels this a "Wolfe Tone vision".
He also says there exists a much smaller vision of Irish nationality based on a shared language, history, ethnicity and culture. He calls this vision narrow and xenophobic and "really driven by hate" in the mould of a European tradition which he believes is an international problem.
Piaras claims "the hard-right" are using foreign donations to oppose Direct Provision centres using mobs in small towns around Ireland. He says the townspeople generally accept the presence of asylum seekers despite a recent Red C poll revealing that 53% of the Irish public want no more refugees coming to Europe while only 31% support them.

Jewish academic Ronit Lentin on how she believes the Irish became racist.
During the debate on the birth-right citizenship referendum in 2004, Lentin voiced her support for Ireland becoming a nation other than simply "white and Christian" and opposed amending the constitution to stop birth-right citizenship on those grounds.

Lucky Khambule of the Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland (MASI) tells the story of an asylum centre manager in Carrick-On-Shannon who got an asylum seeker transferred to a different centre after he complained about the conditions.
It is alleged the manager subsequently texted the asylum seeker to say he would be back in Africa soon and that he should hope that the journey is in a seat on an airplane and not in a body-bag.

Dr Kingston Mills, told Seán O'Rourke that he was very concerned over the continuing lack of restrictions at the borders.
He queried why Ireland has one rule for everybody in the community over Covid-19 fears and another rule entirely for people who are in flight.
Dr. Mills said that New Zealand, Australia and South Korea have done a fantastic job containing the virus which was accomplished with two actions that Ireland has not done: Proper contact tracing and by imposing severe restrictions on immigration, including mandatory quarantining.
Mills went on to say that if Ireland does get on top of the number of new cases of Covid-19 appearing but still lacks immigration restrictions then we are going to re-import the infection from countries that haven't done as well in tackling the virus.
Liam Herrick from the Irish Council for Civil Liberties added that it was perfectly within the state's remit to either regulate or prohibit travel into the country.
