Machinery being shipped out of the modular homes site in Mallow, after it had been stopped.
Well done to the Mallow says No crew that relentlessly opposed the job by any and all means necessary.
A fantastic model to follow.

๐จ Community Alert for Dublin 1.
Classic Hits is reporting that last week there was a child abduction attempt of a 3-year-old boy near Busรกras at the junction of of Amiens Street and Beresford Place while being accompanied by his mother who also had an infant in a pram.
The men who grabbed the boy were on foot and fled when confronted by passersby.
Gardaรญ have said the real target of the abduction may have been the infant with the 3-year-old serving as a distraction.
A few days ago the mother says that a man she described as Arab or Middle-Eastern came over and kissed her son, who is blonde, on the forehead while she was shopping on Talbot St. Her son spotted the same man the following day and pointed him out to his mother. It's unknown if these incidents are related.
Gardaรญ are looking into CCTV footage and taken DNA evidence from the child's clothing but no arrests have been reported so far.
Classic Hits heard that the abduction of boys with blonde hair is common across Europe.

Mullingar mammies continue to camp outside the Collumb Barracks which was named yesterday as being one of the sites set to receive a share of a new refurbishment fund worth tens of millions of euro along with Thornton Hall and the Central Mental Hospital.
The community in Mullingar were originally told that the barracks would only be accommodating up to 120 single men on a rotating basis in tents, but if the government are pouring millions in refurbishment money into the project, it could become a dedicated direct provision site which will house many more asylum seekers for the long-term.

Throw back to how the community in Oughterard protested against the refurbishment of the Connemara Gateway Hotel to accommodate asylum seekers in September 2019.
The plans to place a direct provision centre in Oughterard were subsequently abandoned on October 1st after a tender for a contract with the Dept of Justice to develop the site was withdrawn by the applicant Fazyard Ltd.
A public meeting in early September had attracted somewhere in the region of 800 people, and one of the follow up marches through the town centre was attended by roughly 3,000.
The village's population was listed as 1,318 in the 2016 census.

TD Noel Grealish's speech to the community in Oughterard which sent the regime into hysterics when he accused Africans claiming asylum here of being economic migrants who wanted to "sponge off the system".
He was further pilloried and accused of "disgraceful racism" when he told the Dรกil that the "astronomical" sum of โฌ3.4bn euro being transferred to Nigeria from Ireland over the previous eight years (according to the World Bank) suggested evidence of massive fraud.
But despite all the attacks leveled against him over these remarks, he was comfortably re-elected in the 2020 general election, increasing his vote share across the constituency and tripling it in Oughterard.
"Mr Grealishโs controversial remarks about African migrants being โspongersโ would appear to have helped rather than hindered his campaign," wept the Irish Times. ๐
Credit to @gearmurphy for the footage, especially as none of the media credited him when they used it repeatedly.

Read the placards on one of the silent marches through Oughterard:
"Direct Provision is cruel & inhumane"
"Oughterard says YES to refugees, NO to direct provision"
I've posted before about protests against DP centres around the country being manipulated by the regime into serving their goals.
Locals would be pressured into not discussing asylum fraud or share any concerns other than for the well-being of asylum seekers lest they be accused of racism or being under the influence of the 'far-right'.
They'd promise them that if asylum seekers were to be given their own homes spread out around the country, then the local hotel wouldn't have to be full of them.
But that trick is played out now. The direct provision system was officially ended. We (and the world) were told and all asylum seekers were to get their own homes within 4 months going forward.
I said this would just serve as a magnet for more asylum fraud and was proved right (so far ๐) and now they're setting up more DP centres than ever before.

Here's an RTร report that was typical of the media coverage on Oughterard.
Notice that they juxtaposed the coverage of the Oughterard protest with a much smaller and separate 'anti-racism' NGO protest in Galway. That's a common NGO tactic you'll see so the media has something else to focus on or draw equivalence.
You'll also see anyone interviewed in Oughterard is desperate to highlight their anti-racist credentials, deny any catchword-right association and repeat the NGO talking point that they're just opposed to 300 asylum seekers being dumped in their local hotel as they think they deserve better services and accommodation.
Notice the former People Before Profit candidate and Galway Anti-Racism Network spokesperson Joe Loughnane at 1:39.
Loughnane had a promising career intimating for the media that protest groups against DP centres were being manipulated by evil people in the hopes those groups would cast any suspects out until the Sinn Fรฉin member who assaulted Justin Barrett metoo'd him.

A couple of reports after plans for a DP centre in Oughterard were abandoned.
Are these the celebrations of people who are rejoicing that they've done their bit to end the 'inhumane direct provision system' or are they relieved that any threat of three hundred Nigerian, Pakistani and Albanian men loitering around their village for the foreseeable future is gone? ๐
Note the village's spokesman promising he still has a job to do campaigning against the direct provision system, but I'd say his involvement in that activism finished the second the cameras stopped rolling.
Construction workers had to bring their equipment out in wheelbarrows as the entrance was still blocked up with rubble while the RTร man makes a last chilling reference to the spectre of 'far-right groups' who tried to 'infiltrate the campaign'. ๐คฃ
Then we get one final suggestion that the government needs to do better on consolation with communities where asylum seekers are to be dumped.
They've been repeating that line since the 90s.

It would appear that the State has tried to covertly deploy the Planters to the centre through the use of taxis, hoping to go unrecognised instead of buses.
Several taxis were turned back. Border guards at the airport should take a lesson from the mother's and father's of Finglas! We don't want them, so send them back!
After an all-night protest last night it seems like there is another all-night protest scheduled tonight!
The people of Finglas need all the support you can give. Please bring down blankets, hot water bottles, food, drinks, whatever you can spare.
The State thinks it can steamroll over us. Tell them to take the next boat home!

TD Mick Barry describing what happened in Oughterard as "probably the most successful intervention for the extreme-right in any community in this country so far."
Not just alt-right or far-right but EXTREME-right. That term is reserved for when they've been really rattled. ๐คฃ

Just for completion sake and because a lot of these clips were lost when my youtube was censored, here's the full Primetime segment on Oughterard from Sep 2019.
Note the spokeswoman at 4:20 from Oughterard keen to impress Miriam of her past charity work with unaccompanied Nigerian minors who she wanted to make 'damn sure' were welcome in Ireland because they were an 'absolute bonus and living example of what good citizens should be' (but just not in Oughterard, please).
I'd love to know where they think all these towns which have the infrastructure to cater to infinity asylum seekers are located.
At 7:39 David Stanton admits the DoJ never consult with communities until any asylum contract is signed, claiming it's for confidentiality reasons but as I'll post below, Northern Sound presenter Joe Finnegan says he told him something quite different.
He also admits it's the govt who set up the 'friends of the centre' so-called NGO groups which act as liaisons for the asylum seekers & the locals for the media.

Northern Sound presenter Joe Finnegan on what Minister David Stanton told him was the real reason why locals aren't consulted when asylum seekers are to be dumped in their communities:
"If I'm not mistaken, a couple of months back on this show, the Minister with responsibility for this area, David Stanton, made it quite clear that that is official government policy โ if they're to inform people of their plans in relation to the setting up of these emergency accommodation centres, or in some cases Direct Provision centres, well sure people would be out in the streets and nothing would ever happen."
Stanton proved quite useful for quotes and statistics on the asylum industry. He also revealed in the Dรกil that prior to 2015, the average number of family members refugees brought into Ireland under the family reunification scheme was 30. The highest was 70.
