Because a pampered state-funded hall monitor for neoliberalism and open borders is who really reflects the interests of the community in East Wall.

The ESB's former office in East Wall is earmarked to accommodate up to 380 International Protection applicants according to Green Party Cllr Janet Horner. That means they'll likely be all non-Ukrainians as Ukrainians are given Temporary Protection status unless they request otherwise and the vast majority don't.
In a statement on her website today, Cllr Horner says 80 single men have been moved in so far but women and families are expected to move in at a later date. There are five floors in the building and families will be accommodated on different floors from singles accommodation. Catering will also will be segregated so the different occupants don't mix as are the toilet and showering facilities.
The building has Wifi for the asylum seekers and security cameras are fitted throughout the public walkways.
Gateway Integration LTD have the contract with the Dept of Equality to use the building to house asylum seekers. The contract is in place for one year initially.
There will be a compliment of cleaners on site per day, 1 duty manager on site daily, a senior manager on call 24/7, and security will be on site 24 hours a day too.
An integration fund is available to assist in linkages to local communities. Applicants may avail of English language classes through the ETB.
IPAS carry out resident clinics at all new and existing accommodation locations and work with a number of NGOs who provide support to residents in the form of clinics, and in addition there is a DCEDIY funded confidential NGO run helpline to assist with any queries a resident may have.
Cllr Horner says the building has a valid fire certificate but doesn't explain how International Protection applicants can be accommodated at a non-residential property without the Dept of Equality applying for planning permission.

Dr Mary Ryan, a Consultant endocrinologist, has told TippFM that Ireland needs to stop taking in asylum seekers in order to provide adequate medical care to the current population.
One in two cancer cases are now getting delayed diagnoses and treatment. She said doctors have no more capacity with hospitals and GPs already calling for additional resources immediately.
She said many professionals hold the same view but are afraid to say it.
"We're already so far behind...I just don't agree with Micheรกl Martin when he says they need to keep coming. The services are already stretched and I can see it on the ground as a doctor."
She said everyone is going to get a consistently bad service unless we reduce the number of migrants. People in their 80s are already lying on trollies, and that's going to increase.
"People have to not be afraid to speak the truth in this country. For a long time they've been afraid to voice their opinion because we're being controlled, but that's not democracy."

Tensions in Wicklow now at boiling point.
It's understood two men walked into the Grand Hotel in Wicklow Town just under a week ago and threatened to burn it to the ground.
Almost 300 asylum seekers are now being accommodated at the hotel โ up from just over 100 six months ago. Some 191 are single men.
A number of families that were living there were moved to accommodation in other parts of the country to make room for them.
It's unknown how much extra hotelier Adrian Shannagher was paid to make the deal who says he's had a number of threats.
โPeople call to my family home you know? weโve had all of that stuff. Calls in the middle of the night from private numbers.โ

Locals should not be entitled to consultation over asylum seekers being moved into their communities, hotelier Adrian Shannagher has said.
People in Wicklow have expressed outrage that nobody was consulted when asylum seeker families who had been staying at Shannaghan's Grand Hotel in Wicklow were moved out and replaced with single young men.
300 asylum seekers are now being accommodated at the hotel โ up from just over 100 six months ago.
But Shannahan told Newstalk today that when locals are consulted about direct provision centres, the result is that those centres don't get opened:
"I often found that word consultation historically is designed to mean veto. People wanted to know so they could do something about it. People often say they want to be consulted but what they really want is a whole load of concerns addressed which may or may have any basis in foundation. With centres where pre-advance notice has been given to people, those centres haven't gone ahead."

There is no planning permission exemption allowing the authorities to house International Protection applicants in a commercial building. The exemption only applies to refugees accepted under the Temporary Protection directive.
Solicitor Malachy Steenson has now confirmed this with the authorities.
The contract that the Dept of Equality signed with Gateway Integration LTD is in breach of the Planning Act.
Asylum seekers cannot legally be accommodated at the former ESB office in East Wall. It needs to be shut down immediately.

The speaker Philip is talking about in the video below is an IRSP member called Nigel Murphy. The IRSP has never opposed asylum swindlers seeking to abuse our asylum system and who have been facilitated to do so for the past 25 years. But their members have attacked people who do oppose the racket.

This is Kellie-Jay Keen AKA Posie Parker who's a charismatic English campaigner for women's rights.
Keen doesn't believe men who think they are women should be allowed in female spaces, nor does she believe children should be encouraged to take puberty blockers or remove their genitalia.
Keen holds rallies and gives talks all over the world. This is probably her best presentation.
The British police have just phoned Keen and asker her to come to Brighton for an interview because she's been accused of committing a hate crime while holding a rally there earlier in September. She didn't assault anybody in Brighton. All she did was speak to a group of like-minded people and expressed her views on the transgender ideology. The interview will be used to to try to incriminate her.
This is the power gardaรญ will have under the new hate speech legislation in Ireland.
