The same poster has been placed in various parts of the college but has been damaged each time with NUIG saying those responsible for the poster "have no place in their college community"

Regarding the penis shaped lollipops handed out to Children at Thurles Pride:
The organiser told me she reported the incident to gardaí. Meanwhile she told Tipperary Live that the lollipops were NOT handed out at Thurles Pride "under any circumstance" while gardaí told the paper that no reports had been made to them regarding "inappropriate confectionery".
Tipp Live are suggesting it was all some kind of hate hoax.
They say they examined the evidence but due to "inconsistencies in both the videos and stills, we are unable to verify their authenticity". I also examined the photos and was able to find firm evidence they were taken at Thurles Pride.
But at the end of the day, if the person who took the footage doesn't want to report the incident to the gardaí, there's nothing anyone can do. The regime will run cover for their pet victim groups when they can.
They'll even cover up rape although I can't see any happy Pride messages from the Irish Defence Forces this year. 🤔

The plan to accommodate 222 male asylum seekers at the old Bargaintown building in Finglas has been withdrawn according to Fianna Fáil TD Paul McAuliffe over security issues.
>"Ive just been informed that arising from security issues over the last two nights, IPAS has decided to withdraw all residents from the new centre on the North Road. They have said any future use would be the subject of consultation in advance of any use. "
The Lanesborough Residents Association facebook page reports that the property had been vandalised during the last two nights.

Still 700 non-Ukrainian asylum seekers being accommodated in Finglas & Ballymun even if the 222 are moved on from Bargaintown.
It's being said that the old Haribo factory located on McKee Avenue is being renovated to accommodate more of them too.

Between 150 and 200 members of the community attended the protest.
Though the asylum seekers have been bussed out, concerns were raised that they'd be moved back in at some point. It is believed they are staying at City West Hotel currently.
The protesters also want any plans to accommodate asylum seekers at the old Haribo factory on McKee Ave to be scrapped.
Two members of the National Party spoke to the crowd.
