The Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tony Holohan, has said he is not comfortable with businesses chartering flights for migrant workers.
Asked specifically about Keelings who chartered a Ryanair flight yesterday to bring into Ireland 189 Bulgarian fruit pickers while the country is in lockdown and Irish people can't travel more than 2km from their home, Dr Holohan said he only became aware of the situation this morning and said the actions of the company were "not consistent" with current public health advice regarding travel.

SOFIA (Reuters) - The Bulgarian capital Sofia will be sealed off from Friday to contain the spread of the new coronavirus after the number of confirmed cases jumped in the past two days, the health minister said.
Bulgaria registered over 40 new cases both on Wednesday and Thursday bringing the total number to 800, including 38 deaths. More than half of the confirmed infections are in Sofia.

Fishermen are continuing their protest in Dingle Harbour after a Spanish fishing boat tried to land there last night.
The protest relates to concerns the fishermen have over the spread of coronavirus.
They have been blocking the pier since 7 o’clock last night and says their protest will continue as long as necessary.
The fishermen say they are concerned over the spread of coronavirus and allege that occupants on foreign vessels have not complied with social distancing guidelines.
