The Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tony Holohan, has said he is not comfortable with businesses chartering flights for migrant workers.
Asked specifically about Keelings who chartered a Ryanair flight yesterday to bring into Ireland 189 Bulgarian fruit pickers while the country is in lockdown and Irish people can't travel more than 2km from their home, Dr Holohan said he only became aware of the situation this morning and said the actions of the company were "not consistent" with current public health advice regarding travel.
