The joys of being an "island at the centre of the world".

>They said that while the diagnosis might seem extraordinary in terms of an Irish GP practice, it was an "interesting example of the sort of tropical illnesses that can occur in an ever-changing, multi-cultural Ireland."

>"As we open ourselves to global travellers, we can expect to see more global health complaints," they wrote.

The โ‚ฌ125 Million is expected to purchase 350-400 homes at around โ‚ฌ330,000 Per unit.

Ukrainians aside, almost 5,000 migrants have sought asylum in Ireland since the start of the year. Minister for Equality Roderic O'Gorman has promised them all their own homes.

Meanwhile between 30%-40% of people who are registering as homeless in Ireland every month are newly arrived immigrants with no means to support themselves according to Housing Minister Darragh O'Brien.

According to Economics Professor Ronan Lyons at Trinity College, every extra 10,000 migrants require on average 4,000 new dwellings, principally in the cities.

So 400 homes would house around 1,000 of them or 20% of total so far this year before they can think about housing Irish people. But please remember that it's far-right nonsense to suggest immigration affects the housing market.

If a "media partnership" implies the right to content and editorial control of the National broadcaster then RTร‰ shouldn't EVER be involved in that kind of agreement with any NGO or lobby group.

Last Thursday's show:

"Sandra claims she was denied access to the National Women's Council of Ireland AGM today - was it because of advocacy group The Countess's stance on women's biology?"

Friday's show opened with an interview with Peter Thompson who is a football development officer at Lusk United which allows anyone regardless of their sex play on any team and use any changing room they like because "humanity is evolving".

They're also looking for a capital to grant to extend the club house "to cater to more genders".

"There's no borders and no barriers to kids developing, Joe".

A female caller responded to his comments beginning at 16:45

"There's the physical harm but there's also the question of their privacy and dignity. If any male can access their changing rooms on the basis of their say-so, where's the kindness for women? Where's the privacy, safety and dignity for them? How is this going to encourage girls to compete if they anticipate they're going to have boys in the changing room, boys on the pitch?"

Here's a bonus show from April last year.

The topic was mixed sex toilets which Irish schools are moving towards implementing. Laoise Uรญ Aodha de Brรบn who is the founder of The Countess was invited on who opposes the move.

"If something erodes the protections of women and children then by it's definition that's not progressive."

Push back against her starts at 29:15. Then at 39:20 another caller accuses Laoise of having an "underlying agenda that's against transwomen."

"Are you talking about adolescent males who identify as girls?"

It all kicks off that point and one the callers went off on Laoise to the degree that Duffy had to kick her and apologise, but RTร‰ cut that bit out unfortunately.

>In addition, it is claimed that animals brought onto the site by the occupiers has also resulted in animal waste being deposited on the company's lands.

Bloomsday is today which is when polite society dress up in boater hats and dine on kidneys while listening to Ulysses recitals.

To mark the centenary of the book's publication, UCD have created this homage where Joyce's protagonist, a half-Jewish Freemason with identity issues who insists he is Irish though apathetic towards Irish nationalism, is reimagined as an African woman over hip hop beats.

It's quite fitting actually. They even snuck some lesbianism in.

They recreated a scene in a pub where Leopold Bloom exclaims "I was born here" to the question of his nationhood.

They omitted the preceding line though:

"A nation is the same people living in the same place"

This tweet is an Open-Borders Libtard Paradox

They admit that Capitalists are using immigrants for cheap labour

But instead of doing something about it, like restricting immigration so the Capitalists are forced to hire Natives, which would probably mean increasing the wages to attract Native workers

They instead.....advocate for more immigration and easier/looser immigration laws at that or just total open borders, which then further enrich the Capitalists by make it easier for them to exploit more immigrants for even easier access to scab labour
